Our tour organiser, Borneo Eco Tours, took us and some other guests to this hotel for lunch. The service was polite, the food was tasty, albeit not a massive choice of dishes. I wouldn't have a problem eating there again if I was in the area.

This is quite an old hotel but the room is spacious. I enjoyed relaxing in the bath tub, mostly new and modern hotels will not have. Breakfast was okay. Not the best but not bad either. Only that lack of entertainment in the hotel even on a Saturday night, there was no place to get a drink because the bar...

I was aware that the hotel is old by reviewing the comments of others, however i have also noticed that the hotel team members must have served for a very long time. Usually, the more you serve at hospitality the better you are but its opposite in this hotel. I have not seen a single smile from the hotel till...

I always take my biking friend to the Sabah Hotel when over in Sandakan. The rooms are large, as are the comfy beds. After a long trip, is great to relax in the swimming pool and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

I used to stay either in this hotel or at another similar standard big hotel in downtown area when I visit Sandakan but to my dismay this year the standard of the hotel has gone down. First, is the breakfast buffet which now hardly got anything to eat, no more harsh brown, no more bacon, less fresh fruit, no more...

We spent 5 days in this wonderful hotel. We travelled with kids so needed a place where the little ones had a good time as well. The whole building is beautiful, the rooms are specious, clean and comfortable, but the greatest thing in the hotel is the pool. All of us enjoyed swimming and splashing in it, including our very...

This hotel really requires improvement. Firstly, the staff are not very friendly which is unusual for Borneo as all the people are so lovely! The restaurant isn't great either. I ordered a Nasi Lemak which was cold when it came to the table. I asked for the chicken to be reheated but they just brought back another piece of cold...

We stayed one night on the way to Selingan Island - location is a bit outside town, you can walk to town but would recommend taxi. Nice food in restaurant with ok prices...hotel have a nice pool area. Rooms a bit outdated.

We were offered an upgrade to stay in the hotel as part of a tour package. It was about $78 for 2 people for 2 nights so a no brainer, but did wonder what it would be like. Pleasant surprise. Room clean & comfortable, if a bit dated. We did not swim but the pool & surrounds were lovely. Dinner...

We were booked into this hotel as part of a tour we booked. The hotel was clean and comfortable enough. The hotel was very quiet and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The menu was very limited for vegetarians with the only options being pasta, which I found a little strange being in Malaysia. Obviously not the fault of...
