The owners are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is close to the shopping malls and right on the seaside. The views are great and there is a roof top terrace to spend some time on. The only problem , more of an issue with the nature of the city of sandakan is that parking...

I'm a local Malaysian from West Malaysia. Zul and Za are excellent hosts. They are passionate about the hostel, about the wellbeing of their guests and about Borneo. What I loved most about them is that they are not just there to take in the cash from our stay (like most backpackers hostels do), but it's also about giving their...

Stayed here for only one night. The place itself is artsy and the owners are helpful. The rooftop lounge is really great! The rooms are simple but for the price out it is great. Near some good restaurants and bars. The booking.com info is wrong however and there is no cafe or hairdresser in the building so just be aware...

Nice hostel in the mainstreet of Sandakan with lovely chill rooftop! Clean facilities, nice staff and breakfast with fruits :-) and if you like painting or you're bored, you're free to paint something on the walls. And they have the best hostel owners! Za and Zu thank you!

My husband and I loved this hostel. It might be one of our favorites in fact; and we've stayed at many. The rooms are very clean, reasonably priced, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. We had the queen sized bed with attached shower and a view of the waterfront which was absolutely beautiful! My favorite area of the hostel was by far...

Best accommodation we have had. Very kind and helpful staff. They can help you arrange or recommend the cheapest and best transportation and trips around Sandakan. They gave us a free snack bag for one of our journeys. Good view over the sea. Good breakfast including toast with jam and fresh fruit. Good location. Tee and coffee available 24/7.
