Really nice small resort on Perhentian. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great beach with a really beautiful and big house reef which is great for snorkeling and dive courses. Rooms are rather basic and really old... which will disappoint those looking for a Marriott. Rooms have AC. Breakfast is very basic. The lunch and dinner menu is a mix of...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 12 September 2016

Been coming to this wonderful place for 10 years and our recent visit in Aug 2016 was just as magical as our first. Thanks soooo much to all the staff for their exceptional customer service & their helpfulness. One thing that really impressed me is the coral near Tuna Bay, I think with the coral here is one of the...

Just fantastic for families and a great price with basic wholesome food and great service. You can take your own cooler box full of beers and buy ice and sit on beach without worrying about your children

I was contemplating between Perhentian Besar and Kecil, and decided to go with the former and hope we’d hit the jackpot and found the best snorkeling haven yet. We did, big Tuna time. Kuala Besut Jetty: The decision to arrive at KT (Sultan Mahmud) airport was a mistake that we are well aware of, as we already bought the flight...

Stayed for 3 nights. The resort made it easy and convenient for us to get from the airport to the island, which was great and very efficient. Check in, however, was slow and confusing, we were sat at the table after filling out the forms waiting while other couples who came at the same time have been attended to... It...

We stayed at Tuna Bay for a week with our two small kids and had a wonderful time. The beach was really safe for our kids and it was great to have the reef right off the beach for snorkeling. We had an interconnecting sea view room which was ideal. The rooms are basic but we had everything that we...

Stayed at Tunabay with teenagers for 8 nights. Had interconnecting rooms, 1 right on the beach with an amazing view. Reef right off the beach was wonderful for snorkelling - turtles, thousands of fish, rays..... The staff were very friendly - Jimmy was so friendly and organised an amazing chocolate birthday cake for us. We took a snorkelling trip to...

Well managed resort that could benefit from upgrading the sun lounges. Overall good experience but we stayed a bit too long. 4 days is probably enough Positives: Everything around the booking and logistics worked out very well, something that is not always the case in Malaysia. Nice resort that is well managed Great snorkling at reef right by the beach Friendly...

Stayed her for 4 nights while completing an Advanced Scuba Diving certificate at the adjacent Universal Divers. Chalet was comfortable and clean, and free of mosquitos at night. View from the beach and restaurant is awesome. Food at the restaurant was acceptable, albeit a little higher than other nearby restaurants. The service during lunch and dinner was impeccable, friendly, and...
