We are not really beach resort type people but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay of three nights. The food was pretty good and as it was the end of the season most other places were closed so we had no other choices. The A/C was good the beds comfortable and the staff very pleasant, even at the end of...

We spent six days at Tuna Bay this September and barely moved farther down the beach that a 100 meters during our entire stay. The beach was great, it was fairly quiet and relaxing even though it seemed to be near full occupancy. The rooms were basic but roomy enough, the AC worked well and we had to turn it...

Just back from a week at Tuna Bay. Yes, all the good things that everyone writes are true. We read all the reviews before leaving, so we also tried the other restarants along the beach and looked into all the menu's: believe us, prices for basis meals are very much the same everywhere (round 18-20 Ringitt). Had a go at...

I was at Tunay Bay last weekend and I must say it was a great experience. I have stayed at Bubu Long Beach (Perhentian Kecil) last year which I thought was ok but after Tuna Bay, I would think this is much better, with the same price. Tuna Bay has nice very clean rooms and bathrooms, hot shower, strong air...

We stayed at Tuna Bay for a week in August and loved it, we had a beach front room with a connecting one for the children, the rooms are basic but good and work and are cleaned every day. if you love beach life and want a laid back holiday this is the perfect place. The restaurant does get very...

The service we had for booking the hotel and managing the transfer from our previous hotel was excellent. However, the service and our room at the resort were disappointing. Location close to the beach excellent. Transfer back, nearly missed our flight! We had arranged a family chalet, whilst the front chalet had a view of the garden, our room at...

Tried the restaurant after reading lots of good reviews here on TripAdvisor. But that was really a disapointment. The food is FAR from fine dining. Is is boring and average and the service is really bad. Take a taxi-boat to Impiani at Perhentian Kecil instead (takes 5 min.) and eat at their restaurant. It is SO much better!

We stayed at the Tuna Bay Island Resort in July for 3 nights in a standard chalet. The room was clean and basic, but fine. If I had my time again I would definitely without a doubt stay in a beach front chalet, they looked amazing. The hotel provided prompt responses to emails and the check in process was easy....

After reading reviews we choose between Tuna or Abdulls. We are happy that we did the right choice. The service, standard and breakfast was very good if u keep in mind the resort is situated on this kind of island. They have plenty of staff doing things like, cleaning the garden and beach, or serving customers at the reception. Many...

Basic but spacious rooms, probably most "luxurious" rooms on the island. Nice beach and sea views from veranda (sea view rooms) with hot shower and aircon. Good breakfast, friedly staff. Little house reef just outside. Restaurant is good but we preferred Cocohut restaurant with really good fresh fish. Also try NIA cafe for a quick lunch (really good noodle soup)....
