We've been there 4 incredible days in a hut on the beach with shared bathroom (room n.2). The place is really beautiful, one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen in Perenthian Kecil. The huts are basic, only with a bed with a net and a fan, but with that seaview you won't need anything else. The bathroom is clean...

Great location on beautiful white beach with clear water, about 40 mins walk to village, 30 mins to coral bay, extra 10 to long beach. Water taxi available as well if you don't fancy walking. The huts are basic but sufficient to sleep in, we opted for one with toilet and shower ensuite, easier if you need a pee at...

Lovely people, great beach, funny otter in the kitchen. Pretty back to basic, but what more do you need besides food, (private) beach and great people? Walk to Coral beach (30 minutes) or Petani beach (20 minutes) through jungle or take a taxi boat. Loved the fact that everyone over here is very relaxed.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in October while on our honeymoon. We were worried that we would get rained out because we'd heard that late October is the beginning of the monsoon season. The weather was beautiful all day, but it stormed like crazy every night. We left one night early (although we didn't want to!)...

I'm a bit of a connoisseur of tropical islands - I like my hotels or cabins to have great view in a nice spot on a clean beach. Beyond that I'm not really too bothered how basic things are or how hard it is to get to. I went past Mira Beach on a dive trip, it looked perfect so...

I stayed at Mira for a week, and found it to be an amazing stay. It has already been commented that it's hard to book, and the huts are in need of renovation (which I disagree with) but what you actually get, is Island living on the most beautiful place in Malaysia. If you want fancy places, then you're going...

We stayed here for 5 days in July and it was perfect! It really felt like we were on our own tropical island. It is nicely secluded (actually, when we walked to Coral bay we were quite put off with how things were over there, it just spoiled our views of the perhentians). The food in the restaurant is ok....

I Have just come back from a great 6 days break on Kecil & stayed 3 nights at Mira. Lan ( the owner ) his wife Sue & Ameen were always friendly & helpful !! The bungalows were very basic - we opted for the beach front option & found it perfect to sit on the balcony watching the beach,...

Mira Beach is exquisitely beautiful, private and peaceful. Being back to basics was humbling and all staff were so welcoming. Stayed for 5 nights and there was easy access via water taxi or walking paths to more food options or activities on the days that reading on a perfect beach or swimming/snorkelling in the clearest of waters weren't enough. It's...

Stayed at this place with my girlfriend for 5 nights. The family that runs this place is really nice and helps you with everything. The beach is beautiful and was named Beach of the Week by some travel magazine. We stayed in a very simple hut with shared bathroom. Bathroom simple and not 100% clean but alright. You can walk...
