I spent a couple of days with these guys, making a refresh dive with a quick theory course, and then some fun dives. There was a really friendly and happy wibe at this place, with a lot of great people taking care of us, and the owner Mr. Jeng feeding us with fruit😃 When it came to the diving they...

We stayed at Matahari as they offered a great package including rooms/breakfast/dives/ferry. The rooms are a bit dark, but as they're really only used to shower and sleep it was not an issue for us.The team are welcoming and knowledgeable. Internet is spotty at best, which give a good reason to switch off your devices and enjoy being on a...

Well, in long Beach, all accommodations are bad. Local people are not friendly, food is just OK. You come here essentially for diving or at least snorkeling. Prices are higher than mainland in a really badly managed island. Matahari is OK for the renovated rooms with AC.

Generally, I would say I had a good experience with Matahari. We, me and my friend, stayed in this hotel while also taking 2 Diving courses (Open Dive + Advance). My rating is based on the following: 1) Value: I think Matahari provide a good value of money. We stayed for 6 nights and 7 days in an A/C room...

We decided to book with Matahari Divers a few weeks in advance as we were unsure about finding accomodation when we arrived. We got quoted a price for a chalet room for 5 nights and 6 fun dives. The price seemed reasonable and included speedboat return tickets from Kuala Besut and breakfast each day. When we arrived we signed onto...

We stayed at matahari chalets because of the the friendly people at the adjacent matahari-diveschool and a recommendation from people at the beach. If you arrive via watertaxi at long beach you'll find them on the left side next to monkey divers and panorama divers. Matahari offers rooms and chalets that CAN be combined with some diving; they have excellent...

I'm a walk in guest. On the day I arrived, they had left only a AC room, I've check other hotel and chalets but the small island was quite occupied. No other choice, i take the room for my 3day stay. The room is so dim, then this hotel will cut off electricity after 12pm. I can't unpack my luggage...

I did 2 or 3 random day dives (dives only, no accommodation) with them about 2 years back and had a good experience. I decided to stick to them this time round, but turned out it wasn't such a good idea. Maybe it was the peak season (early August) but oh well, whatever it was, they definitely could have done...

I have been visited Matahari chalet a couple of times now, and I must say its one of my favorite places to stay in perhentian Kecil. The accomadation it self, is pretty decent, if u opt for the Chalet, u receive a decent double bed, with hot water and attached bathroom, the stay is very basic but everything is very...

Having arrived accomodationless on the island and a bit lost and panicked we found Matahari by chance! They were fully booked in all their rooms except their aircon rooms which were 180R a night (£36) so we decided to just get one night and Scope out cheaper accommodation elsewhere for the remaining nights. Turns out the island is actually really...
