We stayed for 4 nights at Maya in a basic double room with a fan and private bathroom. The accomodation is 'beach shack' style and only metres from the beach. The facilities are very basic (especially the bathroom) and the electricity is switched off between 8am and 7pm but its fine for backpackers who aren't too fussy. At 50R per...

We stayed the night in a tent, because the double room seems to be to expensive for its standard. We got a mattresse without sheets and a one-person tent, which was really small for two small persons. So many mozzies and it was so hot. We just had the chance to sleep 2-3 hours, because outside was a party..

Arriving in late August (height of busy season) with no. Booking we had very little option in terms of accommodation on pulau perhentian Kecil. We were very lucky to get a room in maya chalet - they operate mostly on a walk in chalet. Our room was very hot and the fan didn't work very well. We had a private...

Because everything was full we were forced to sleep in a tent at Maya. Although we didn't regret it at all. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They set up our tent. It is cheap, and it created a real cosy camp feeling!

Location is good as it is just next to the dive centre that we engaged with, Anti Gravity. I only stayed there for one night and stayed the rest of my nights at Senja Bay. The one night when I stayed there was a nightmare. I couldn't sleep the whole night when I was there as there were bugs biting...

Zani and the friendly and accommodating staff at Maya made for a memorable stay. The chalet is very very basic and could do with a coat of paint (and a sink in room #4😳), but it was clean and the view from the bed was breathtaking. Maya chalet is great for a cheap and easy dive holiday with Anti Gravity...

Spent four nights here last month whilst visiting the Perhentian Islands. This guesthouse is located on the more chilled out side of the island, right on the beach. The rooms are very basic. The mattress & pillows were filthy and the mosquito net had lots of big holes in it. The fan gives no relief from the muggy heat. For...
