Our family spent 1 night at Kasbah Tebi. A renovated family house in a UNESCO village, the hotel is very quaint. You get there by following the porter's donkey across a small river. There is no electricity but plenty of charm in the candle lighting. The dinner was good traditional Moroccan cuisine. The rooms and bathroom are small and get...

A friend suggested us this place during our backpack journey. Even if we don t usually put our budget for the place we stay at, we were totally glad we decided to go to Kasbah Tebi. It was totally worth it and it will be one of the best memories of our trip. The small discomforts as the no electricity...

The fantastic location in the ksar (the only place based in the old town). It was a special experience to overnight in the old ksar without electricity and only with candel light. The dinner (tajine) was one of our best in Morocco.

Ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a hotel with no electricity? Kasbah Tebi provides this experience. Its excellent staff will serve you dinner by candlelight and give you candles to take to your bedroom for illumination. Fun at first but one night of breathing candle smoke is enough for me. BUT do go. It is a...

A fantastic Kasbah located in the hearth of Ait Benhaddou's ksar (there are only a couple of places based in the old town). There is no electricity, so that you can disconnect from the world for the duration of your stay. The rooms are very nice, the kasbah is magnificent, as well as the owners and the staff. Dinner and...

My husband and I spent one night at Kasbah Tebi and truly enjoyed the experience of staying in a kasbah without electricity. It's such a different and relaxing experience! Our bedroom was spacious and bathroom is great with big shower with hot water. We had a delicious candlelit dinner at Kasbah Tebi (one of the best tajines I've had while...

I stayed in this amazing and unique hotel on my bike trip through Morocco and it was a wonderful experience. The building and the location are fantastic, on a UNESCO protected site. When we cross the river and enter in the village it’s like to turn back in time. The hotel and the village hasn’t electricity and the light of...

This was definitely an unforgettable experience. You stay in a restored casbah illuminated by candlelight. No electricity, but there is hot water! Both the property as well as the surroundings are otherworldly and completely magical. Mohamed is truly hospitable and accommodating. He caters to his guests' needs and facilitates anything you need. Need internet, or to change money, or help...

We were the only couple staying overnight. We did not get a good feeling about the owner, Mohammed. He made some practiced friendly words, but something about his manner just didn't inspire the safety and trust we felt in every single other hotel in Morocco (we even left our passports and valuables in unlocked rooms everywhere). We also felt quite...

Lovely and friendly hosts made us feel welcome and cooked us dinner when we arrived quite late. It was a pleasant kasbah that felt very authentic without electricity. The actual town is very beautiful and well preserved.
