The Dar Manara is a wonderful hotel within the medina (old cisty) of Asiliah. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The day hotelier is an energetic Catalan ex-pat who quickly pulls out the area map to show you where to go. When I was there the hotel was only partially booked so it felt like we had this traditional...

The hotel itself is situated in a great location in the heart of the medina. The room we stayed in was small on the ground floor, which also meant there was noise from the street if the window was open. The roof terrace was lovely and the staff were friendly. They also organised a taxi at a fair price for...

Wow. Everything about this place was perfect. Said, one of the owners, pours the best cup of tea and serves the best breakfasts! The breakfast was amazing, by the way. Fresh Orange Juice, Coffee, churros, crepes, fresh fruit...I ate until I popped. This Riad is quiet and peaceful with loving, caring owners. The rooftop Terrace is perfect for journaling, napping,...

Even away makes you feel at home. Great environment, excellent location, inside the medina. Very good service and very attentive staff. If one day will visit again Assilah will choose for sure Dar Manara again. Sónia Pires (Portugal)

I stayed in Dar Manara with friends for 10 days - it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The welcome from Ana was lovely, and throughout our stay she was very helpful and thoughtful. The riad is stunning.has an air of tranquility. The bedrooms are small, but beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the roof terrace...

I stayed in Dar Manara with a couple of others and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. So much so that when we went to a different part of Morocco we decided to come back to Dar Manara, to spend our last couple of days there. The breakfasts are fantastic: fresh fruit, coffee, fresh juice, assortments of bread and toast....

We were dissapointed about a few things in this place. First of all we dont get the fact one has to pay for breakfast as first of all, its quite unusual in Marocco, but second it also was the worst one we had on our Moroccan travels. All the items were dry and old. Surely not cooked that day. Compared...

Dar manara manager refused a Moroccan couple on saturday August 16, 2014 and accepted a spanish couple. This is considered racism. I do refuse to use this ryad because it works with principales that are colonialist.

I stayed in Dar Manara on a recent trip to Asilah. After the first night, I had NO intention of booking a second night. I only stayed here after poor treatment from the owner Ana because I am a 20+ year old woman, was traveling on my own and had no time to book elsewhere. When I arrived to Dar...
