If you're visiting the medina, this is a very good choice. It's clean and perfectly located steps beyond the walled entry. The rooms upstairs are quite small, so we chose the spacious Assilah room on the main level. It doesn't provide outside light -- the windows open onto the enclosed courtyard -- but we appreciated the additional space and large...

I was at this Riad with 5 other friends and Irene (hostess) was very gentle to receive us in a spot where we could park our cars and then took us safely to the riad. The breakfast was good. A good way to put yourself in the Arabic mood! The rooms could have more morrocan decoration but it was clean...

This is a rather sweet, rustic Riad, based right in the heart of the Medina. Our room was a reasonable size, and was situated on the ground floor. The room was en-suite, the shower was fine, and bed was comfortable, there is no television or fridge in the room, this wasn't an issue for us. The front desk staff were...

Nice rooms, air conditioning in all, private bath in all. Excellent helpful management and staff. Second floor rooms with window are the best. Continental breakfast plus fruit and plain omelette and plain crepe. Good location in the medina.

We stayed at Assilah, which is not as popular as Fes and Meknes, but still a very beautiful seaside small town. We stayed at Riad Assilah which makes you feel like home. It's not a boutique hotel, but more like staying at a friend's house. Rooms are basic but comfortable enough. Bathroom is clean, though if you need to bring...

My wife and I arranged a one night stay in Asilah after a day tour in Tangier with our two children (10 and 13). We were so pleased to get to the Riad and find that the staff spoke both Spanish and English. The Riad is in the old medina and is beautifully decorated. The staff was extremely helpful and...

Problem of this riad is the lack of air circulation. Our room was very warm and stuffy. I don´t want to know how it´s like in July and August. Rooms have aircon which - in my opinion - shouldn´t be necessary in riads. But the girls at the reception are very friendly and helpful.

Great location and friendly staff. Really good bathrooms and shower. Unfortunately our room and our friends room were damp and had a strong odour. I complained and was offered another room. No damp but cheap standard and rough around the edges. The door handle was broken meaning we couldn't get out of the room. We were advised to use the...

Chose Riad Assilah in Asilah as we wanted to stay in a traditional house and not a hotel. This did not disappoint in any way. We were met as arranged at Tangier and taken by private taxi to Assilah. Access to the riad was an easy walk through one of the 3 main gateways and then literally 50 metres along...
