Hotel berbari My wife and I booked 3 nights at Hotel Berbari in august. We were driving trough Morroco in a rented Renault symbol (a city car). We decided to stay at the Berbari as a break on our journey from Marrakech to Chefchaouen (by train and then bus). The taxis from the station - min 100dhs one way which seems expensive for Morocco, but they do have to do a mile on a very off road track - it takes 10-15 minutes to get there. This...

Berbari is beautifully located in the countriside 7 kilometers far from Asilah, and it's charming the way it has been built (same materials as kasbahs in the southern part of Morocco). Rooms are spacious, clean and decorated with such an exotic charme!! Breakfast is tasty as well as the dinner (Moustafa and the other guy which I don't remember the...

This was a very pleasant surprise. I had read the tripadvisor reviews so I expected something nice but not so original. Rachida runs a tight ship. She is bursting with energy and you immediately feel at home and want to extend your stay. The guest house is only about a kilometer from the main road and yet you feel like...

this was the first place we stayed in morocco and it was a hard act to follow: i still maintain after a month of travelling that the meals were the best we ate in morocco and certainly the best value for money. although this wonderful guesthouse is not on the beach, it is a quick easy cab ride to a...

“Even if you book a suite with balcony access, I would call them a day prior to arrival to ensure that you have what you asked for.”

“The only negative point is the poor accessability. Difficult to find, no sign at the N1 where you have to drive uphill. The unpaved road to get to the B&B is in a very poor condition. Almost impossible to drive after heavy rainfall (unless you drive a 4x4). Advice: call the B&B when you are on the N1 just south of Asilah. They come down and guide you to the B&B.”
