It's a nice hotel with friendly English speaking staff, good location (there are shops, exchange offices very nearby and medina). The decoration of the hotel impresses a lot! Everything including lounge, ceilings, staircases is decorated in Moroccan traditional style which creates a certain atmosphere of charm. Breakfast is good, variety of dishes and drinks. In my opinion, it's the best...

This delightful hotel was located just outside the main square of Chefchaouen. The first surprise was the bedroom decor - each room is decorated according to a different theme - ours was jaguar print shams, curtains and bedspread with bright red walls - different and delightful. Staff was helpful, breakfast was delicious. A lovely stay.

Spent a night at Hotel Madrid Chefchaouen, March 2015. We had a top floor room at the back, nice views to the hills and less noisy. The room was freshly painted and nicely decorated, although not large. Th e double bed could only be accessed from one side. Bathroom had new toilet and shower. Shower was very small, the shower...

We had four poster beds in our room with net curtains over them and the beds were a rather shocking pink but otherwise it was a nice wee place to stay in. The room was clean but rather cramped. The service was good and there was no trouble at all about getting an oil radiator for the night as it...

We left as soon as we saw the rooms. Very small rooms with old furniture. It was uncomfortable. The only advantage is the location which is very close to the medina. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a family.

This a very nice, small hotel right outside the Chefchaouen medina. We were on the second floor and overlooked the street and one of the entrances to the medina. The room was comforatble, about what you would expect for the price and location. Nothing fancy, but then again, who wants to stay in their room when you have a beautiful...

I just loved this place. Great staff and service in a hotel that oozes character. The breakfast buffet was superb - the best I've come across in Morocco. In fact it would be difficult to beat anywhere! Rooms and en suites clean and fully working with plenty of hot water. Decor, traditional Moroccan in the public areas, Barbie dolls caravan...

Bizarrely the room had two single four poster beds in it with full swags and lace. This didn't leave much room for moving but as it's quite cold in chefchaouen in march there qere plenty of blankets. Breakfast was a trad buffet of bread pastries cakes olives dairylea (!) Cucumber mint tea and coffee. There was a large screen tv...

Hotel Madrid is very well located ,less than 5 min walk from the main square. The staff is amazing! Everyone was always super nice and helpful. The room was almost too colorful, yet comfortable. Heating and hot water worked perfectly.

Of all the places we stayed in Morocco this trip this would be OTT , Over the top! From the public areas to the rooms, this hotel has been accessorised and decorated with all the eclectic and Morrocan themes possible. It works and the lovely staff with welcoming tea and biscuits only add to the ambience. Rooms are small, but...
