Absolutely recommended. We found this place in Lonely Planet and are glad we chose it over some of the more expensive options. Very easy location to get to from the Medina gate - helpful staff assisted with where to park our hire car and helped with bags. Good breakfast as well as mint tea available on arrival and on request....

I was several times in Chefchaouen and this is the best experience I had so far. The place has recently opened, its very a very beautiful space. The colors are amaizing, the terrace has nice views on the city and very cosy for having breakfast or relaxed evening there. The rooms are bit dark but I didnt find it particularly...

This hotel is very nice and the staff is even better; they would go out of their way to get whatever you need. Our room was on the terrace so it had plenty of light and it was nice and cozy however, there was no kettle or hair dryer and what I think is the worst is that the bathroom...

hello, thank you for your feed back on Dar Gabriel. it is a bit difficult to get a strong wifi all the way to the top terraces, and we do find most of the village use it if it is too strong a signal! the darker rooms are lovely in summer, I hope the free availability of tea makes up...

The service was excellent. The rooms in general are small but nice and very clean. We got the room on the terrace. The rooms downstairs looks dark, but they have wifi connection. The toilet in our room didn't have a door. I think most of the rooms don't have doors on the toilet. The rooms don't have a kettle or...

hello thank you for your response. we do try to be as modern as possible with wifi and service to our guest. in a very ancient medina it is hard to get light to the bottom of the riad, naturally, in the winter. in the summer its wonderful! the terrace I hope compensate for this, a place to relax. kind...

We stayed for one night in the beautiful city of Chefchaouen. Easily found and wonderfully welcomed. The price was perfect and the room was cozy and clean. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and it is close to everything in the medina.

Dar Gabriel is perfectly located in the centre of Chefchaouen. We can really recommend the rooms on the rooftop-terrace- clean, comfortable, daylight window and a cosy marrocan flair (even if the bathroom was quite small). The owner was a nice guy who served us every morning a delicious breakfast on the rooftop- terrace with a pretty cool view on Chefchaouen....

We were two couples travelling Morocco and found Dar Gabriel on Trip Advisor whilst we were in transit travelling to Chefchaouen from Fes. I emailed and got very prompt replies to my enquiry for two rooms that day, staying for four nights (25th-28th Sept). By the time we got to Chefchaouen the rooms were booked and on arrival the staff...
