Chefchaouen is one of the most beautiful places I've been and Riad Baraka is a great place to enjoy it from. We were warmly welcomed by Joseph and owner Anne, who both had lots of info to offer, they helped us plan a day trip to Akchour and our travel onward to Fes. All the staff of the riad were...

Normally my girlfriend and I book the first night in a hostel when we arrive to a new city/town. This had been the case at Baraka. As soon as we entered there was a warm family feeling in the lounge area on the first floor. It made us feel very comfortable, and welcome. We immediately booked another night. Long story...

Really enjoyed our stay at Baraka. The facilities and the rooms plus bathrooms are super clean and probably one of the most comfortable we have had on our month long trip in Morocco! The showers are also very clean and very private. The breakfast is inexpensive and is delicious and a little different than the typical breakfast you might find...

Coming into Chefchaouen, my two friends and I didn't have a place to stay. We walked into the Baraka and got the last 3 available beds! The staff was super friendly. Over the next three nights, we made friends with all sorts of travelers from around Chaouen (as the Baraka terrace became the most popular spot come nightfall) and got...

Overall I had a really great stay here. My private en suite was very good value - the bed was really comfy and it was very well decorated and clean. I liked the breakfast and thought it was good value. I actually really liked that it's an optional extra too, as it means you are free to have your breakfast...

This was such a wonderful hostel. It is in a perfect location within the medina. The atmosphere was incredible, and it really gave me the feeling of an authentic Moroccan experience! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us get aquainted with the town! I would highly recommend staying here!

Booked 2 nights and stayed 4! I think that sums up my feelings well! Gorgeous riad just in the medina. Hard to find if you come on the local bus (which I did) but clear instructions if you come the tourist route. The staff here run a tight ship and I loved it. Super clean and efficiently run. Felt safe...

Great hostel, the common area and the terrace are lovely. The breakfast costs 25 dh and is totally worth it. Only had signaling near the place itself so can be a little hard to find when you first come. The only con is they close the hostel at midnight and you very locked out of your late.

Thanks for your review and compliments , we do close the hostel at 12 for two reasons for security and Chaouen is not a party town . We do have the best terrace in town which can be enjoyed all night(with some consideration for neighbours) thanks for choosing to stay with team Baraka .

Great hostel inside the old town/ medina. Comfy beds, clean, great location and staff members Richard and Kate were very helpful giving me pointers on where to eat and where to find the CTM ticketing booth etc. The hostel has a beautiful rooftop terrace with 360-degree views of Chafchaouen; the call to prayer at sunset sounded incredible whilst sitting up...

One of the best hostels I have stayed at in all my years of travelling!! I came for 4 days and ended up staying 3 weeks. The traditionally decorated Riad located in a very central part of Chefchaouen is clean with extremely comfortable beds, and has a great rooftop terrace to chill out on, meet new people and take in...
