Unfortunately this hotel did not live up to expectations. We were in the annex rather than the more attractive looking main hotel. Difficult to find and our luggage had to be carried miles! The place was pokey with no real common area other than the roof terrace. Our room was very small and there was a ridiculously large piece of furniture which had no use whatsoever! Added to that the red drapes over the bed - why?! The room was very noisy with cat’s and dogs fighting outside and men spitting - yuk! Also, there was a really unpleasant odour - cat pee? Staff were friendly enough although the manager(?) had a massive verbal fight with someone outside just as we arrived - not very appropriate. Also seemed to be reluctant to recommend anywhere good to eat. (We found Sofias which is really good). Not our favourite stay in Morocco.

Lovely breakfast with an amazing terrace, Hamam spa was excellent with a truly Moroccan touch, our whole stay was a very positive experience, staff are friendly and helpful. our stay in Hotel Casa Miguel was a thousand and one night hotel . we are delighted with their services, the conformity with all the disinfections of the rooms and the common areas. their breakfast was super good and delicious . the staff also was very helful and professional in finding the solutions to all our wonders and questions. they offer us to try the Moroccan Hammam in the hotel , which was worth the try and the penny it is an exceptionnal one with all those moroccan masks with organic herbs and perfumes for body and hair and the relaxing environment. we had dinner in house, which was a unique taste on the soups, salads, and tagines with a touch of love that you can feel and taste and their unique desserts. we stayed for 4 nights there and we felt that we are the king and the queen there because they organize us excursions to nearby sightseeing and also to Akchour also they organize for us a hotel in Fes with all the directions also they make sure that we arrived their safe thay pay attention to all small details and make sure that we are safe and took all the precautions of COVID we recommende this hotel in chefchaouen to all, and we definitly will be back with our family and friend. they can also privatize the whole hotel for big families or friends gathering .

Visited Chefchaouen for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay at Casa Miguel. Location was right in the centre of the Medina, very close to the waterfall and a 10 minute walk up to the Spanish Mosque for a beautiful sunset. Service was absolutely amazing, we were given lots of helpful tips by the lovely host and felt very taken care of. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located so far in the Medina that access is a problem. Even though we are very light travelers (think one carry on bag apiece) we found the going very tough. Our room was up two flights of uneven, narrow, winding stairs. The room was small and the bathroom even smaller. Since it was for just one night we managed. The breakfast was good though the seating the dining area is optimized for form and not function. It looks good but not so much in practice. Luckily our driver came to pick us up at the hotel instead of waiting for us in the main square so he was able to help us wheel our bags because the porter who was supposed to come by somehow just did not show. The place is big on form and scores low on function.

We booked with Casa Miguel, but because they were full, they've set us up in this lovely place. Rooms are tiny, but provide what is necessairy. Friendly family. Terras upstairs. Located in the medina, near the kasbah. And they have A beautiful housecat named Perla.

We’ve been to Chaouen a couple of times and this stay was just as good as the first. Casa Miguel is a beautiful boutique hotel in a prime location with excellent service. The interior is traditional Moroccan chic and everything is so photogenic. Only a couple of minutes walk from the main square and next door to Cafe Clock (excellent food) you could sit on the stunning terrace for hours just taking in the spectacular views. The staff are so accommodating and helpful. And not to mention Perla the rag doll house cat who just loves attention. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough, it is a must see!
