We went for dinner here (didn't stay at the hotel) and were baffled by the rave reviews in both our guidebook and online. The restaurant is a dingy, cheerless room with dim fluorescent lighting, they had Celine Dion & Enrique Iglesias on repeat, and many things on the menu weren't available. Staff were polite and helpful, and the food was...

We took a taxi to get us to Auberge Dardara for dinner from our hotel at Chefchaouen and we were so glad we took the trouble to get there. By taxi, it is about 20 mins from the old medina in Chefchaouen. We had the most amazing rabbit tangine with quince and roasted goat with rosemary. Service was attentive and...

Stayed for three night, the suite looks nice with local furniture and Berber design. There is a small issue with hot water but it's a clean and comfortable place to stay. The staff is very helpful and the meals are totally made from local products. There is some hiking trail that you can try if you have some time to...

We made our way to the Dardara from Chefchaouen (either get a private taxi or take the older Mercedes taxis from the station near the Jewish cemetery) and were very well rewarded for the trip. The food is incredibly fresh and the owner and staff are extremely professional and clearly invested in the customers' experience. We had the garden salad,...

We had a beautiful meal here during a trip to Chefchaouen. Located outside the city it is well worth a visit for a meal. The menu features various goat cheese products. Their salads are fresh and creative with nice combinations of vegetables and fruits in season. We enjoyed a wonderful goat and fig tagine which offered a big portion so...

We randomly stoped here for coffee then decided to have lunch. The staff were very helpful and provided lunch for us. Excellent salads. They make their own cheese. After we left we learned this is the place highly recommended in the Lonely Planet book just outside town. We came back our last day and had a full lunch with a...

The place has surely seen better times. Nobody is taking care of the garden. Also the floor on the terraces is not swept. Leaves lie around all over the place. There are quite a few staff members but they don't seem to be instructed on how to keep a place tidy. The water in the nice pool is not clean....

We stayed in this hotel as part of a group for a New Year trip. Firstly, the food is absolutely AMAZING. Breakfast beautiful fresh breads, scrambled eggs, tomato salad, churros with honey...I would come back here just for the breakfast. The harira was the best I tried on the whole trip. Literally everything that came out of their kitchen was...
