I guess that this was glamping as there was an out building with flush toilets and showers; so we did not really rough it. This is something that you really need to do as it is an unforgettable experience to ride a camel to the sand dunes, watch the sunset and then ride a camel to see the sunrise the...

I wasn't sure what to expect, for I am very picky when it comes to hotels and more or less "roughing it." I was alone and had a private tent: Living room area, dining room and bedroom with toilet and shower. I was quite comfortable with the accommodations. It's not high luxury, but for the night, I didn't have a...

I spent two nights at one of the private bivouac. Just spectacular!! The attention to detail of the staff is out of this world. The location in the middle of the sand dunes makes very special every second at the camp.

I spent 2 weeks in Morocco to cover the various cities, kasbahs, atlas mountains, valleys, souks, and the merzouga desert counts as one of the unforgettable highlights of this journey. I've ridden camels in India and Egypt before, but the endless desert in Merzouga has a more authentic feel, not to mention the beautiful clear sky, and the sunrise and...

By far this was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. We arrived at our desert location right before sundown -- perfect timing for a sunset camel ride. Berber guides helped us mount the camels and led them up to the golden dunes. It was magical. After the trip to the dunes, we were led on camel back to the...

This experience was the highlight of our trip. The tents are very comfortable with separate shower and toilet. The lighting is dim but for one night it was fine. The camel ride to see the sunset was fabulous - what a unique experience. We were entertained by musicians and acrobatics when we first arrived from the sunset ride and during...

Ride your camel, then come to this wonderful camp. The tents are great, the food and staff were what made the night. Loved the feeling of being out in the open. The Desert never felt so real. However - not many of the other guests appreciated my snoring - very thing walled tents.

My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our desert adventure. At first we were a bit skeptical because upon arrival we were not made to feel very welcome. Once our camel ride was initiated everything fell into place. Our camels were led by a great fellow, Mohammed. He was kind, sweet and made sure we enjoyed our experience. Our sunset...

Talk about being in the middle of nowhere. Stars were incredible. Very nice accommodations although it was 32"degrees outside overnight. They provided 4 heavy blankets and a hot water bottle. Bathroom in tent was adequate, water was freezing in the sink. One flashlight. We had a good dinner in the main tent, with a fire pit and appetizers outside before....

Everything was stolen from our bags and wallets! We came to the hotel expecting a great Sahara experience but we left with empty pockets. Everyone told us it was very safe despite the fact that anyone can go into your tent (hence the lack of security boxes to deposit valuables, they say). We stayed at the luxury tents, private tent...
