We stayed here for two nights. I was given the room number I had requested (although beware - Frommer's is incorrect in which room numbers back up out onto the dunes!) . They call it Errachida, but to me it is Merzouga. The last couple of miles was rough driving but could be done (very carefully) with a passenger car. Right out of your room you walk on the sand of awesome desert dunes. At the hotel reception they say this little touareg style hotel came out from the crazy mind of Rico, an italian who at 50 "found himself", looking at the stars while sitting on the Merzouga dunes.
