Our family was fortunate to spend three nights, including Christmas, at the lovely Finca Mystica. Ryan and Angela (and Jasmine =cutie) and their staff are outstanding. I was in awe of all that they have accomplished on this unique property, from construction of the cabins to the planting and harvesting of herbs, coffee and crops. Despite all of their daily...

Our family of 4 stayed at Finca Mystica for 3 nights and it was an amazing experience! Ryan arranged for us to be picked up at the ferry and even though we took an earlier ferry then we had originally planned, there was someone waiting for us with a sign and smile on the other side. Ryan and Angela have...

We stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Arrived from the ferry in deluge of rain and so drive up over mud slide roads was interesting! But upon arrival, we were met with personal attention from Angela and a clear explanation as to how the set up works. We felt really welcome and relaxed into the place...

We homesteaded in West Virginia 40 years ago. Our hosts Ryan and Angela are putting together an organic homested, built by hand from scratch which features several precious cabins, a dorm and a nice communal area.. The meals are fabulous, especially Angelas home baked bread and roasted coffee. Much of the food is either grown on the farm or sourced...

We stayed four nights at Finca mystica. You really get the feeling being at the end of the world. It is a great base to trek to cascade San Ramon or to go kayaking on rio istian. There's also a small secluded beach nearby where you can swim in the lake. Since there aren't any restaurants near by you'll probably...

I stayed at Finca Mystica for what was supposed to be a few nights and ended up being a week! The grounds and the view are absolutely stunning. The construction of the rooms is really unique and I love that it's eco-friendly (I stayed in the dorm which was great). Between the service, the location, the food, and the environment,...

This is a wonderful place to stay on Ometepe with warm and friendly owners, stunning sunsets, great accommodation, a fantastic restaurant and all you could want. It's totally accessible to all the activities you may want to do so don't let the location put you off. I absolutely recommend it 100%.

This place was unbelievable. The grounds were gorgeous, the homemade meals were the best I had throughout the whole trip, the proximity to volcan madaras hike and the waterfalls was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure your trip was wonderful in every way. They will set up all hike excursions for...

Spent a couple days with my friends last March in this beautiful place. Ryan and Angela were great hosts. The food was spectacular and I am still dreaming about the pasta w/ lemongrass sauce. It's at the end of the island but it was so worth it. If you crave peace and almost no tourist, you have come to the...
