A friend that was at the hotel for a group dinner late last year told me about the Blowfish. I immediately went on tripadvisor and saw all the positive reviews and also the very few negatives - we live in an imperfect world, I thought. I decided to check it out. I called up the hotel on a Tuesday and...

Stayed for 2 nights at the Blowfish Hotel when on a business trip to Lagos. Room rates are reasonable and the quality of food was good with a wide selection of Mediterranean, Italian, Indian and Thai cuisine served at the inside restaurant, by the pool bar or at the outside Italian restaurant "La Veranda". I was also informed that there...

You can choose to stay at an international hotel with international standards and a worldwide reputation, where you'll only be a number, just another customer passing by, with no specific attention for you and value for your time. Here, at the Blowfish hotel, you'll get the top quality of service, PLUS the very best attention and concern to satisfy your...

'Do not care' attitude of the staff. Front Desk- 1) Got upset when I gave feedback about my laundry issue. 2) waited at the front desk for receptionist to get free from his phone and attend to me. We came here for supper with friends and we ate at the upstairs restaurant. We had every thing from Pizza, to sole and Pasta. Service was good, ambiance very pleasant. The food depending on the dish ranged from nice to OK. I found the prices a little bit high, but I would definitely come again.

The room was comfortable. The bed rather hard, but the there were several type of pillows available. The shower, won't really get hot, but in the end it doesn't bother you. AC is working properly in the rooms. The hotel has a perfect breakfast buffet. Also the atmosphere around the pool is perfect. We also loved to eat with the...

Blowfish is a gem in Lagos. really great food, and even better service. would certainly recommend if you're new in town and looking to find a nice hotel in the heart of Victoria Island. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel's Purple Restaurant for the Thai dishes. Very reasonably priced too for a...

Perfect mid-range place to stay in Lagos. Good location close to supermarkets, dining and nightlife. Would recommend to a friend. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. The restaurants on site are very good with the Italian being exceptional, in my opinion.

The crew is very helpful and the acommodations were ok. Besides the power outage problem they have throughout the country, I was able to have a fair internet access, nice restaurants inside (I had dinner at the italian one, a great Seafood risotto). Recommended!
