We stayed at the Santuario Hotel for one night during our tour of Machu Picchu. My room overlooked the river which was really nice and relaxing. Staff was helpful, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was very nice. Good location within walking distance of several restaurants and the center of town.

We stayed in this hotel for one night arranged by OAT. We found the room to be very clean, staff very friendly and good location. We would stay at this hotel again and or recommend to others. We were able to walk from the train station or to any restaurant with difficulty.

Our group stayed here. I believe we were in an upgraded room, so others must have really been small. We had a window & terrace overlooking the river which made it very pleasant. Luckily we had closed the screenless windows before we went to bed because the next morning I found some huge flying bugs outside the door on the...

We stayed here one night before heading up to Machu Picchu. The place is adequate but by no means luxurious. The river is right next to the hotel, so you have to be extra careful about using only bottled water. Location is fine but may not be your best option unless you are on a budget. If that is the...

I stayed here based on the reviews and the reasonable rates. At first, I loved my room with a terrace overlooking the river - so beautiful and the sound was so relaxing. At first, it was just the safe that didn't work but I wasn't bothered. But then, it was the hair dryer...and no hot water...and that wonderful river view?...

Aguas Calientes is not known for good hotels. Therefore, We were not expecting much when we checked in. The room was not large, but it was adequate. The bathroom was fine and we never ran out of hot water. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. The view of the river from our room was very nice.

Our group of 14 stayed here overnight for our visit to Machu Picchu. The hotel is situated with a beautiful, breathtaking view of the river. That said, the rooms were very small. You walked into a bed when you opened the door to your room. Bathrooms were on a platform...kind of odd. Their wifi was not working properly on the...

It was very basic accommodations, 2 twin beds. large room with a balcony over looking the stream. Bathroom could have been larger, it was tight but okay. An elevator is sorely needed especially after my legs were hurting from hiking all day at Machu Picchu. The staff was great & helpful with my questions & requests. The breakfast could have...
