My tour guide booked this hostal for me so I'm not sure the price. I was only staying 7 hours since I had gotten late to Aguas Caliente and needed to get up at 5am to get started to MP. It not far from the village center but it's probably one of the furthest away. I didn't feel that the...

We got it offered as a part of a machu picchu tour. We got in, slept and got out again. Internet was not working and since we left at 4:30 in the morning, they promised us to make a breakfast package. Which they forgot to make. Good bed, 5 minutes walking up from the main square. Convenient convenient store close.

Our booking guy booked us here and it was great. Someone picked us up at the train station and helped our group of 9 get to the hostel. The power was out in the whole town and they made do. We all got candles (luckily the power came on later that night). The rooms were very nice and so were...

The hotel provides you what you need, nothing more, nothing less... They aren't very kind and helpfull, but quite cold, despite all the others Peruvian peolpe met there, the breakfast was poor ( at least at 4.30 am ). We can't reach the wi-fi by our room but in the cmmon area outside it. If you need only a place...

First of all, they moved our open and spread-out luggage from one room to another. We had been booked here through a travel agency for two nights. It was just the two of us, but they put us in a three-bed bedroom for the first night. When we came back from our second day at MP, we had been moved...

Hostal Las Rocas was recommended to us by our tour guide. It is a the top of the main tourist street and over looks the river below. The hike to the Las Rocas is steep, but all of Machu Picchu is hiking and climbing, should not be a problem. I found the locate acceptable and the people very helpful and...

We stayed at las rocas hostel one night before visiting Machu Picchu And it was one of our best nights in Peru. The room is very confortable, very clean and we had an amazing view of the river. It was more like a good hotel than a hostel! breakfast is simple and is included in the price and is not...

We were met at the train station, the wrong name was on the board, luckily it had the hostal's name on it also, then took up a steep climb to Hostal Las Rocas, glad we only had small rucksacks with us!! It is right beside the hot springs,if...

We recently spent 4 nights at Las Rocas and it was excellent value for money. We took the advice of other travellers and decided not to book in advance but to look around until we found something we liked. Up near the entrance to the hot springs we found Las Rocas. We asked to see a few different room types...

“Ask to view the rooms available first and make sure you get one at the back of the hostel with a view (Some rooms don't have views and others are close to the breakfast area which would be noisy at 5am every morning).”
