This hotel is one of the furthest away from the train station and main drag in the tiny town of Aguas Calientes--and that's a great thing. Yes, it's on an incline, but we did all just come here to climb Machu Picchu didn't we? And trust me--that incline is nothing compared to the ascent at Machu Picchu itself! Some of...

Nice location, excellent breakfast (fresh eggs, fresh fruit cereal, wide variety of breads). We got a room overlooking the river. It was beautiful, and noisy (river sound). Walking distance to the bus stop and to the train station and market. Though, its a steep hill/road from the main road, just something to keep in mind. WiFi was excellent.

I stayed here with my family in between visiting Machu Picchu. The hotel has a nice location right by the river. Thus, the rooms are very noisy but I found it relaxing. Reception was friendly, and the rooms were simple but very pleasant and comfortable. The bathrooms always had hot water. However, there was some mold on the picture frames...

We stayed for one night. Check in was completely unfriendly. The checkout is very early at 9am and my children wake up late so I asked if it would be possible to get a later one. The answer was we would have to pay for an extra day even though the hotel was hardly busy. Fine, that's okay but not...

I choose this hotel for the good reviews and because it was one of the hotels options for our tour to Machu Picchu. The storage our luggage while visiting Machu Picchu and they let us used the bathroom when we returned. The location is very convenient and close to the bus stop. It was very quiet during the night you...

When you step into the glass enclosed foyer of this large hotel the contrast with the ancient site of Machu Pichu couldn't be more obvious. The location is excellent being only 2 blocks from the buses up to Machu Pichu and the train station. Despite its proximity to the river it is quiet. Its is easy to access the central...

The staff were very friendly. The rooms were small but comfortable and the sound of the creek was a pleasant background noise to sleep to. The breakfast was good and the lobby was a comfy place to hang out in.

My friends and I were so disappointed with our hotel experience! I booked one single night in the hotel but needed to change it to 2 nights. I had spoken directly with the Owner, Carlos as well as emailed several times prior to us arriving. He confirmed that we would have 2 nights in Terrazas del Inca. I was worried...

Stayed two nights at this cozy hotel. Soledad met us at the train station after we called the hotel and didn't stop helping us and smiling during our stay. She was awesome! Had two delicious and hearty breakfasts and warm wonderful service throughout our stay. Try to get a room facing the stream. It's really worth it. We had the...

Stayed in room #201 for 2 nights this late January. This place exceeded our expectations. The location is in front of Rio Aguas Clientes, and the sound of the river outside our window was soporific and we loved it. It is a minute walk to the 'walking street' in town (Ave Pachacutec), where the ruckus was happening (restaurants, shops, bars)....
