We didn’t have a great stay. If you are spending a lot of time at Machu Picchu, you’re not going to be at the hotel too long. You will want the basics. After a long day hiking and seeing Machu Picchu, we needed some long hot showers. Unfortunately, we only got a couple of minutes of hot water. Our traveling...

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to write about your stay with us. We are sorry to hear that we were unable to meet your expectations but appreciate the time you took to contact us. It is not usual to have difficulties with hot water but we will check our system in order to guarantee is working properly....

Inkaterra Machu Picchu is an amazingly lovely resort worth spending an extra day at as a destination. It is, however, a 40 minute, rather harrowing, bus ride, often with a long lines of tourists waiting for the bus. Inkaterra MP has lovely grounds worth exploring (they have free scheduled tours of various kinds), really good food (try the restaurant by...

Very nice hotel but is located next to the train tracks. Request a room as far away as you can, unless you like to hear the sound of the train that runs at least hourly between 5am and 10pm. Rooms are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable. The food in the restaurant where the trains come by is very good....

A wonderful hotel set just next to the station. Excellent and helpful staff, each section of the hotel is in different parts, so walking up and down from the rooms to restaurant, to reception. You can always hear the birds, the water fall, the sound of the wind on the trees

We spent a week hiking the Salkantay Trail with Mountain Lodges of Peru before arriving in Aguas Calientes and staying at the Inkaterra. We really had excellent, excellent accommodations with Mountain Lodges of Peru, but our stay at the Inkaterra was a real treat and very welcome. Walking through Aguas Calientes, it's obvious that the town is oriented towards tourists....

A beautiful hotel in the forest. Great nature. Next to the train station to go to Machu Picchu. A very warm atmosphere with great decoration of common places. Natural organic products in the rooms. Cozy and traditional decoration in the rooms.

We had a large room with a comfortable bed, a large balcony overlooking many exotic trees and plants, and lots of opportunities to shop in the market before going on to Machu Picchu. I just wish we could have stayed a little longer and explored the tea house, the orchid trail, and other parts of the cloud forest grounds. It's...

We stayed here for one night. Our room was okay, next to the train tracks, but we were so tired the noise didn't keep us awake. We were not able to schedule much regarding seeing the rain forest type grounds. They have lovely orchids, bird watches, etc. One of the couples we saw the next day told us they had...

We were lucky recently to take a trip to Peru, which included an outing to Machu Picchu. Unlike many "day trippers" who have to take the train in/out on the same day as the hike, we stayed in Agua Calientes (now called Machu Picchu Pueblo) at the Inkaterra. Beautiful "casitas" snuggle amidst the tropical trees, which are home to many...

This hotel is on the outskirts of town, bungalows surrounded by gardens. Birds of paradise are everywhere, as are native birds. The beds were firm, the bath products upscale and the pillows were down. The rooms themselves could use a refreshing, but we have no hesitation recommending this property. There is a jacuzzi that spills into a pond (pool), which...
