The hotel is simple but the price is good and they have nice rooms. Wifi is not available in all rooms and the breakfast could be better. Ask to stay at a room on the back (by the river) due the noise of the train at the front rooms. The receptionists are very kind.

Arrived to this hotel, after three days trekking on the Andes, cold, smelly and tired. Me, not the hotel!! Check-in www swift and the room was amazing. Large comfortable double bed. Spacious hot shower. TV with CNN and BBC world news. Breakfast was slightly chaotic as everyone was trying to eat at the one time and leave for Machu Picchu....

We stayed here the night after our Inca trek ended before we went to Machu Picchu the next morning,. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the Urabumba River. It's close to the train station, however, after our trek, I didn't notice the noise and slept really well. The beds are comfortable and the room was clean. It's close to many...

Surrounded by restaurant, within 10 minutes walk to the bus and train station. Good to be not so close to the bus staion, as people queuing up there can make a big noise. Room is big and clean. Have a good view to see the river, the air is so fresh, breath breath breath. Friendly and informative staff.

We arrived after walking the Inka Trail. Exhausted and just wanting to sleep. The young girl on the desk was very helpful and spoke pretty good English. The room seemed clean although the bathroom was 'cosy' to say the least. They had cut out a chunk of the door so that it could open past the basin!! If you are...

This hotel is well located, our room had a small balcony that overlooked the Urabumba River with a beautiful view of the mountains. Our matrimonial room was huge with a sitting room just off the bathroom separate from the bedroom area. The hotel breakfast is simple but available from 4.45am (great if you are doing an early start for Machu...

In Agua Calientes, the entire area is basically for tourists to go to Machu Picchu. Along the rail road are all the hotels and restaurants. There is a section for the market too. I thought Presidente was pretty clean and our room was pretty big in terms of the location. The free wifi only works in the lobby. There is...

My room was very clean, plenty of hot water, some direct tv channels, and a small balcony with river view. WiFi signal only worked in the lobby, and breakfast was ok. Just a short walk to restaurants and the Machu Picchu bus. Walked in off of the street and negotiated a better rate.

We stayed here one night on our visit to Machu Picchu. It’s pretty basic lodging, rather reminiscent of a log cabin, with wooden walls and scant uncovered lighting. There was some dark grime on the bathroom light switch, but that’s the only unclean thing I saw and it was easily wiped away. The internet connection was fast and good, likely...
