I borrowed an adaptor for my iPhone from the hotel as I had forgotten to pack mine when we did the Inca Trail. As a result, I can't remember what socket was used, sorry. As an aside, I did have with me for the rest of the trip an adaptor which catered for all combinations of outlets which proved very handy. Apologies for not being more helpful.
