We arrived early in the morning (7am) off an overnight bus from Arequipa. We had all our bags and fortunately we did not take a micro taxi as it would have not got up the hill to the Oasis, although it might have been more...More
I really like the staff, who are friendly and helpful. The room is big and comfortable. The hotel has an amazing dune to the highest dune in the oasis, a nice common area. The location itself is not the best, as it's not facing the...More

I live in Lima and have been to Ica various times. You need to calculate at least 4 hours from Lima to Ica and 1/2 to 1 hour within Lima to reach the airport. Lima traffic is chaotic, so the time it takes you from the airport to the South end of Lima can be 30 minutes at 4 a.m., 60-70 minutes at 12 p.m. or 70-120 minutes at 7 p.m.
We just showed up. They don't have a parking lot, but there was street parking right in front. We didn't have a problem, but it wouldn't hurt to let them know you'll need parking. Have a great vacation!!!
