A bit out of town, the staff was marvelous, very helpful and engaging. Our room was comfortable, had a balcony but no chairs. The room could use a deep clean to remove mold in bathroom and grud on windows. We did hang out at the pool, it was small but nice place to cool off and relax. Breakfast was good, omlettes to order, fresh juice, fruit and lots of curry. We were there 2 nights and all the staff was attentive and smiling.

Basic hotel in Anuradapura but with a great dinner.
After a great day visiting Anuradapura, you don’t need an exceptional hotel if it is only for one night. Very nice staff. For dinner, great choice of local food (and some western dishes if needed). We had the chance that a large group of pelgrims stayed at the hotel. Always a plus when the local population also stays at the hotel.

Among number of hotels in Anuradhapura, Hotel Randiya is a decent a place to stay. Rooms are new and clean how every poor maintenance is visible. Food is average as value for money. Need to improve the buffet. Staff is friendly. Close to the city and pooja area.

I am writing this comment because I don't want anyone else to have the unpleasant experience I had with this hotel. The room allocated to me and my wife was a very dirty room, women's hair had fallen all over the room and you could see the stains all over the floor to identify the tiles that were not mopped. The bathroom was very unpleasant the wash basin was blocked and the bathroom walls looked like they had never been cleaned.The most unpleasant thing is the presence of worms in the dinner we were given. The hotel management has not considered to give a reply to the e-mail message that was sent to complain. An unpleasant hotel

Excellent hotel! The facilities and location are great. The staff were very accommodating - highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Anuradhapura. The hotel can arrange a variety of activities for you as well. Rooms are lovely, will stay here again.

We checked in for staycation .it was bad decision to choose this hotel All the staff were friendly but not professional at all first impression was so bad because once enter to hotel they ask me to cancel the booking through the booking.com, and they are saying that have to pay for that .then we ordered Sri Lankan Rice and curry they send us left over once we informed that to FO ladies she just ignored However Dinner and Restaurant staff was very friendly . One more thing that I noticed Manger was shouting to staff in front Guest that’s not pleasant we never come back

After a long time we stayed at randiya hotel. I Must say they have come a long way since Covid, much better service & such a convenient location since me and my family went to worship atamasthanaya. Rooms were so cozy and bathrooms spotless. The food tasted good, however they should add a better variety for vegetarians too. Worth the price!

Initially booked a regular room 2XX with my family for the third time. After the arrival less than 15 minutes, the AC blasted and threw water on top of my bed.....then they transferred us to the room 2YY, ultimately the AC was OK, but unbelievably fixed with a half completed sellotape..!! the toilet gave a smell from the downstairs cooking. The bathing area the glass door was almost just to collapse, as afraid that it will fall on to my little ones...the hot water geezier connections were rusted.....

Excellent service and delicious food made our stay a memorable one I am writing this review just after returning from our stay at the Hotel Randiya. Conveniently located close to the sacred city. Great staff, Delicious meals and superb service overall. Highly recommended.

Got to Know the place online. Decent and well maintained hotel. Stayed in #415. Very specious and very clean rooms. Clean toilets. But need to be replaced new thick pillows. Good service staff (Wasana / Duminda etc) Good breakfast spread. Will deffenetly come back!!!
