The best Hospitality..
We really recommend the the Anuradhapura kingdom resort for a family for staying the stays in Anuradhapura.
Location is so near to the every sacred place in Kingdom.
Food is out of the words . They customize the meals as we want and really taste and good in hygiene. Special thanks to the staff .. mind blowing "wew malu curry"...
The Air conditioned room is also clean and well arranged.bathrooms are with hot water.
Calm surrounding and nice view..
Highly recommended with five stars

Sam, the guesthouse owner, picked us up from the train station. We were greeted with a refreshing coconut. When we arrived at the accommodation, we moved into our room. It was well equipped (with A/C) and very clean. For a small extra charge, we booked breakfast. This was always beautifully presented, plentiful and Sam also accepted breakfast requests and implemented them very courteously.
Sam was also easy to reach via WhatsApp at any time. If we had any questions (restaurant recommendations), he usually wrote back straight away with various & good suggestions!
We cooked dinner (roti with fish curry) together with his wife in the guesthouse. This was educational and very tasty!!
In the evening, Sam even went on a little tour with us to learn more about Anuradhapura and its culture. This was at no extra cost to us.
On the day of departure, Sam drove us to Nilaveli (approx. 2 hours drive) for a fair price.
A really great experience and a very accommodating, friendly host who is happy to help!

Nice place, very close to the ancient city. Food is very delicious. Rooms are very clean and view is excellent. Host is very helpful and car parking space is enough. You can walk around the place and can see the birds....

My wife and I frequently visit Anuradhapura and have stayed at various places over the years. Cleanliness and hospitality are our top priorities, so we always carefully review customer feedback before making a decision. This time, we chose to stay at KVR based on the positive reviews found on Google, and we were not disappointed. Because of the great service the hotel offered, I thought this type of business needs more visibility. That’s why I decided to give a review on TripAdvisor as well. This is an excellent place for foreigners as well.
Our three-night stay at KVR was truly exceptional. The establishment is new, with a few rooms currently available and plans for future expansion. The property is impeccably maintained, with evident attention to detail throughout.
The owner, Mr. Sam, is extremely professional and always ready to assist. He's readily available to provide any support or advice you might need during your stay. As a well-educated local, he has a deep understanding of the area, which is particularly helpful for those looking to explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura.
There is ample parking next to the property, and unlike most hotels where cars are left exposed to the sun, KVR offers two shaded parking spots in a car porch. If you're lucky enough to secure one, your car will stay cool and protected from the sun.
We will undoubtedly choose KVR for our next visit to Anuradhapura.
