I would say this is one of the best places I have stayed in Sri Lanka during my 12 day tour. Nice peaceful place. Excellent staff and service. We thoroughly enjoyed their food and drinks. Highly recommended!

Amazing how trees were brought from the forest & planted on a barren piece of land on which the hotel is built. Rooms are amongst trees ...& close to a lake where buffaloes come for the afternoon drink. Surrounded by nature, many variety of birds & squirrels. Good ambience, good food & HELPFUL STAFF. Very tranquil.

This was a great location for visiting wildlife like elephants at the bottom of the extensive gardens . The reclaimed gardens were fantastic with native trees and abundance of birds. Lovely. The room was basic but fine for an overnight stay

Yes undoubtedly the resort is great but food was disappointing, when we reached late afternoon we ordered chicken burger for lunch which the menu said will be served in 20 minutes took much longer. After all that wait the burger arrived & we were just shocked it was a chicken salami not burger by any standards. The kitchen staff needs...

Stayed for one night. Found the room to be basic although it had a nice terrace at the front. Our room was in the gardens at the rear and a fair walk from the main areas. Our room had a small shower which was a bit smelly but ok for 1 night. The bar and the restaurant were very nice...

Spacious and good equipped room, nice terrace with big chairs, big pool, huge garden suitable for walks, bar's open for a long time. Bathroom has shower and tub, though a little bit old, needs to be renewed. Close to Anuradhapura kingdom sight and Willpattu national park. Hotel restaurant has low level of food choice, dinner offer is low and breakfast...

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was basic, but clean and had chairs on the porch to sit and read, have a drink, or contemplate. The food was served buffet style and we especially enjoyed the fruit choices. The only disappointment was the pool which was not chemically balanced so we were afraid to use it. Lots of construction...

This should be a really special place but it is not. The staff are not very welcoming or helpful. The room we had was a long way from reception and the dining room. Ok if one is fit and it is not raining. It was interesting to note that room service may be suspended when it is raining. Presumably OK...

The hotel atmosphere is very calm with chalets scattered in a jungle setting. Ideal for pilgrims to condition their minds before visiting the religious places. The rooms are spacious and the food in the restaurant is reasonable.

Visited with friends for dinner. The surroundings are very calm and tranquil. Plenty of trees and foliage. The hotel is elegantly built to mingle with the surroundings. Food was good. Did not use in house facilities and hence unable to comment.
