We stayed for 1 night, half board with dinner and breakfast. The location is serene and the staff/hospitality exceptional. Cleanliness could be better though, attentional to detail was somewhat lacking with some residual stains in the toilet. Also buffet menu is somewhat lacking in variety.
Overall decent value for money and excellent staff!

A very eye catching with a relaxed place to be with excellent staff starting from the GM-Mr. Tyrone. Wathsala & to the lowest staff throughout in every section. The variety of food selections and comfortable place to be in the heart of city of great Anuradhapura surrounded by the Nuwara Lake. I’m extremely satisfied with all the facility what they provided and I will always recommended this hotel to many since it is absolutely worth for the money what we spent. I nearly stayed 03 days this time and of cause this was my second visit with Hotel Miridiya. The SriLankan hospitality was well provided thru during the entire stay. My whole family enjoyed it thereby. Kids were thrilled. A big Thank you for the entire hotel staff for their hospitality and keep up the good work. Of cause we are hoping to visit back as soon as we get a break in our busy schedule to be enjoy again. Thank you.

Everything is perfect.the food,room,cleanningness,services.definitely gonna recommend to other persons who is interusted vist Anuradhapura. The best thing is in this hotel is the personalized service which is provided by all staff. I believe this place will be in top in the near future. I am a regular coustemor to Anuradhapura i have stayed in so many hotels, but Miridiya is one of the best which is directly facing Nuwara wewa Amazing ..

Hotel room was very comfortable with all required necessities and had a very modern / outdoor toilet . Both room and toilet was very clean
Food was very delicious and they have a huge menue to choose from.
Hotel is surrounded by nature and is infront of the Nuwara Wewa. Great place to relax. Close to pooja bhumiya.

Unfortunately the pictures on Booking.com and other websites are not a true reflection of the accommodation. While both the AC and fridge worked, the room was poorly sound proofed and dirty. Maintenance of the facility was clearly lacking and many of the issues could have been fixed in short order. Our room safe worked for a day and a half and then wouldn't open. We were left with master keys as no-one seemed to be able to lay their hands on any replacement batteries! The bedding and towels needed a good soak and thorough wash to remove the stains, spots and yellowing from previous use. We observed a rodent sampling the fresh fruit platters at the restaurant, which left a large concern over hygiene. That said, my wife did enjoy watching the squirrels who appeared to be provided a little rice to snack by hotel staff.
On the up side, the staff were lovely and the pool looked inviting.

Miridiya Lake Resort was a very comfortable hotel stay, accommodating and friendly staff, clean rooms and convenient location to all the worship places. They also take good covid 19 precautions. Highly recommend this hotel.

We visit anuradhapura twice a year and our choice of accomodation has been hotel miridiya since the beginning . The hotel has been excellent in keeping up the standards from the beginning . Nevertheless the hotel staff is very friendly and hospitable . The view from this hotel is very beautiful . The surrounding is calm and could spend the day relaxing ,and most importantly the food is delicious . Overall its a very good experience for a very good affordable price.

This place is absolutely disgusting! It is absolutely filthy with flies buzzing around everywhere, especially in the restaurant. I wouldn't dare eat there. They had the audacity to put up a sign apologizing for the flies, claiming it's just a seasonal issue, but that does nothing to help the guests. And don't even get me started on the staff, they are so unfriendly. The lunch was supposed to be Sri Lankan cuisine, but there wasn't a single vegetable in sight. And as for dinner, it was a buffet, but it felt like they just kept serving the same meat items over and over again. When I asked if I could have a poached egg, they rudely informed me that there would be an additional charge. The room was a disaster too, it was dirty with flies and even mosquitoes inside. This place is an absolute nightmare to stay in. They seriously need to work on making their staff more friendly if they want to attract any guests.

From booking date until check out I received a fantastic service from all staff members from this hotel. Rooms were ready and and clean. Food was fantastic and all staff was pleasant and helpful. At the reception desk all members of staff was so helpful and made us feel valued and welcomed . I would highly recommend to anyone coming from abroad to stay In this hotel as it has beautiful nature and over looking lake. Found the best place relax and enjoy my Birthday. There is parking in the shade outside the Office entry."
