We stayed for one night on the way from Colombo to Ella. The hotel is walking distance from the station (the tuktuk drivers at Kandy station volunteered directions!) and very central. Our room was a decent size, with fridge, TV, a/c, fan and a smart little shower room and toilet. We were right at the front on the road but...

Only five minutes walk to the bus station. And warm welcome by the staff. Quickly check-in with some suggestions for the city. Room clean and well-designed. And the price for us is around 30 USD. We are on the 4th floor. No elevator so might be a problem for someone with heavy luggage. A lot of shops for everything nearby....

This hotel is a good location for the train & bus station which is why I booked it. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly & saw quite a number of lizards in there. The room was small. No windows pointing outside either only into the hallway. The walls are paper thin & I could hear word for word when people...

We spent a night here on route to Habarana. We had a room at the front of the hotel and whilst you can hear the traffic, this didn't bother us. The hotel is located centrally and within walking distance of the town. The staff are really friendly and the breakfast fantastic. The rooms are really nice, comfy bed and hot...

We stayed here in January 2017 for 2 non consecutive nights (we travelled to Sigiriya - stayed the night there - then back to Sevana hotel in Kandy the night after). The rooms are what could be described as shabby chic - nothing too fancy in terms of amenities but do the job! Earplugs are provided incase you can hear...

A group of 4 of us stayed here in December 16. Its a very nice family run business with very clean and tidy rooms. The staff were very helpful, always smiling and fluent in English. Location is nice and central for local attractions. Food was great, the staff even put on a special dinner for us one night of traditional...

Small and very neat hotel in central Kandy with cheerful and helpful staff, you can walk to all main attractions (Temple, lake, market/ shopping center, restaurants in town, etc.) and back in half an hour or so. Our room was small, but very clean, with comfortable bed, really good air-conditioning and access to little garden. Even though our windows were...
