We have very mixed feelings, we were there during the Esala Perhera, but this was the 2nd most expensive hotel we stayed at, and the lowest end hotel. This is as others have said really a hostel. The rates were not higher due to the festival. The rooms are very spartan, the rooms on the 3rd floor are SMALL. This...

We paid $80 US/night for a triple room at Nature Walk Resort and for that price we can only give it 3 stars. The manager and staff were very friendly, but this was way too much to pay for what we got (we booked in advance through email). In general in Sri Lanka, I would not recommend booking budget/mid range...

This is definitely a hostel not a hotel. Very clean- staff friendly. Great views and amusing glimpses of the Kandyan Dancers next door having a break backstage (texting or smoking in outrageous costumes!) . Food was very average- not the delicious SL fare we were expecting at all and breakfast was fruit and toast so very simple. There were a...

We stayed two nights in this hotel, wouldnt call it à resort, and pretty happy about it. We had a top level room with an amazing view in which both hot water and À/C worked flawlessly. The staff was very friendly and they always seemed happy. The only problem we had was the driver they arranged for us had disappeared...

nice place to stay. The owner is like a family member. During our stay he tried his best to make us comfortable. he also extended his own cars to make my wife overcome 'motion sickness' problem. Overall, a homely stay. Food is purely Srilankan type and very Hot. This could be an issue for some.

Stayed in this comfortable, clean, friendly guesthouse for three nights. Lovely room, nice balcony and clean bathroom at a reasonable cost. Paid 3800 rupee including breakfast for two. Will stay again if in Kandy.

I stayed for 4 nights from 6th June 2012 and chose Nature Walk based on all the reviews. What can I say other than this was a mistake. The price is exceptionally good, the staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful, the breakfasts delicious and nutritious. The room, on the other hand, was far more basic than I am used to....

Dont let the name fool you. This is a hostel, as is clearly indicated by the awards on the walls from numerous hostel sites. The rooms were basic, but clean. The guys that worked there could not have been nicer and the food they prepared us was delicious. That being said, if you are looking for an actual, traditional hotel...move...

A bit far from the center, but it becomes a great choice if you want to relax and enjoy some views from your room (you always can keep a taxi tuck tuck phone number to arrange your pick up). The facilities are new and in a good shape, the staff are friendly and will always help you.
