We stayed in Magudalle's for 3 nights in Easter as part of a 2 week tour of Sri Lanka. As soon as we stepped through the door we were made to feel at home by Kumari (the owner). The house is lovely and feels like you are experiencing real Sri Lankan life. The rooms are basic but clean and provided...

After having stayed at the Queen's Hotel for three nights it was such a pleasure to find this guest house. I was in Kandy for work and needed a place that could offer me a desk and reliable Wi-fi - I had been working with my computer on my lap at the Queen's as they couldn't even provide a chair...

We stayed two nights here in mid-June of this year. One would never know what was hidden beyond the front door! Upon entering, you feel like you have walked into a sacred space. Our host and lady of the house, Kunari, greeted us warmly. We had a lovely room upstairs with a nice patio to relax on. This guest house...

As we entered the house, we were welcomed courteously by the owner, her cook, and her helpers. Her living room is almost like a museum! She has ancient artifacts dating back to hundreds of years ago. The guesthouse makes you feel like you are at home in Kandy and gives you an eye opening experience to the history of Kandy....

My parents, sister and I stayed in May 2012, which was perfect for exploring Kandy city, within easy flat walking distance to the temple, cultural show and all the splendid shops, as well as traveling further afield like we did to Sigiria, Dambula etc. The guest house has 5 basic, clean & comfortable rooms (with hot water) at a very...

We stayed 2 nights in this guesthouse in Kandy. We had the room downstairs with a king sized bed and a big bathroom. The room was quite basic, but there is a little patio on the 2nd floor to hang out. The owner is very friendly and felt us feel much welcome here, she also organized for a good driver...

When you arrive here there is no indication what so ever this is a guesthouse. It looks like a normal house in a street. It is about a 15 minute walk from the center of Kandy. Once inside you get a warm welcome and feel at home. Kumari was very responsive on the e-mail when I mailed for information. The...

My adult son and I stayed 4 days in this lovely home right in the centre of Kandy, and it was the perfect place for us. The spotlessly clean rooms upstairs open onto a nice little verandah area where we could sit amongst the pot plants, and we had our meals in the family dining room whose walls are lined...
