Close to Kandy town and near Katugastota bridge. From the garden you can see the river flowing slowly. Room was good with hot water. You can order meals if you prefer or come to the Inn after meals. An old house converted to an Inn.

We booked the entire place to stay the whole family for our brothers wedding in Kandy. I must say the place is fairly decent and everything was pretty good. Everything is very clear rooms to bathrooms. They give a very friendly service. We stayed only one night but my husband is planning a trip there again with his friends as...

Stayed for one night after looking for few budget hotels. This is the most clean budget hotel I came across. It has a restaurant and can bring beer from out side and enjoy the garden with the view of the river. I recommend it to any one.

Second year staying here and it's under new management. Rooms and baths have had needed repair since our last year visit. Rate includes room and breakfast. "Vardy" takes good care of guests, makes wonderful breakfasts, always ready with hot water for tea and coffee, and will even do laundry. That's a welcomed extra when staying 10 days.
