I must say, first the staff seemed really nice they invited me for some drinks but after we booked a tour at another place they tried to convince us to cancel the tour really urgently. The guide that we booked called the hotel and they told him that we already left. The last day the dropped us at the train...

Stayed for one night with another couple. They had Room 1 which was a double room which looked a lot better than Room 4 which had a double And single bed. Rooms adequate for one night with plenty of hot water day and night. On arrival received fresh fruit juice, staff accommodating. Breakfast consisted of eggs, toast with marmalade, fruit...

The staff were lovely and the surprise breakfast was a plus! Basic room, but super cheap and easy walking distance to most things. It's a bit of a hike getting there and up hill - so definitely get a taxi.

It is not for any luxury stay, the facilities are poor compared to other budget hotels. Cleanliness is somewhat questionable. It is good for a backpacker to just sleep in and get out in the morning. The access is easy to the place and it has somewhat of a good view of the Kandy Lake.

This is by no means a fancy establishment, however for what you are paying for a room, it is very good value. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They were able to organise a day trip with a private driver for next to nothing and served a good breakfast each morning. You can enjoy a great view of Kandy...

Stayed at the Drop inn with my girlfriend for one night. Herbert and his staff were very friendly and obliging hosts. We had the room on the top and the view over Kandy was outstanding! The room was basic but nice and clean. Bathroom was also ok, seen much worse. Breakfast with freshly cooked omlette, toast, fruits and tea/coffee was...

The hotel itself is very basic, but adequate. It is a good value place to stay for those on a budget, relatively close to Kandy center and with good wifi. The main selling point about this guest house is the owner, Herbert. After our stay, I realised I had left something in our room. Herbert was incredibly helpful on the...

We stayed at Herbert's place for two nights and we were very satisfied with the service provided. Even though rooms were not oustanding, the location is nice and Herbert is a great host. He dropped us off a couple of time down town and tried to arrange things with the train station when it was fully booked. His driver is...

I arrived by train and took a tuk tuk to the Dropinn. Its more of a guesthouse with 7 rooms available dor rent.Met...
