This hotel is like a little quiet haven away from everywhere. The gardens are glorious and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The food has been outstanding (although I've not been keen on waffles and pancakes for breakfast). The BBQ they did new eves years was fabulous, with a bonfire and fairy lights decorated all the trees. Rooms are...

Coming from Canada we had high expectations, and this place exceeded them. Beautiful warm pool set in the jungle with calling birds all around, strong wifi, hot water, great AC comfortable beds with good mosquito nets, plugs with adaptors built in, huge breakfast with waffles, eggs, tomatoes and piles of fresh fruit included. Dinner was reasonably priced and plentiful. Lovely...

On arrival we were greeted with warm cake and coffee and a beautiful place to sit while we waited for our room to be ready - we arrived before the 2pm check in. A smal place away from the hustle of Kandy- very relaxing. Excellent, nicely decorated room. The breakfast was lovingly prepared. Big, nice pool (but a little cold). Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

We only stayed 1 night here, but it was absolutely lovely. We were met with tea and delicious carrot cake. the rooms were delightful, with thoughtful touches. Breakfast was gorgeous, and we only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the lovely food and tranquil setting of Sweet Cinnamon. We would love to return to Kandy, and if so,...

We arrived in Kandy for the Perahara and what a hustling bustling place the City was. It was refreshing to drive only 1.5 km and arrive at the very tranquil Sweet Cinnamon. The food, the room, the pool, the stuff and the owners...everything will make you to change your travel plans and stay one or two nights more...have heard about few that stayed weeks more...if Kandy, then Sweet Cinnamon or their budget version Clove Garden.

We spent two nights here in the suite , it was clean and comfortable .Fresh fruit and crackers are in the room on arrival .There are no curtains so when in the bathroom one hopes no one is walking on that side of the bungalow ! There was efficient A/C & big screen TV .It's run by friendly owners and...
