Very nice place to stay in the centre of Kandy. Close to the lake. Great, clean and spacious rooms, nice bathroom with hot water and also a good breakfast. Very nice owner who can give you a lot of information about what to do around Kandy. Also very good value for what you pay. Would definitely recommend this place!

Tidy, functional rooms and pretty communal areas. Staff are pleasant and will help with booking cars and trips. The rooms we had were extremely noisy due to band practice from the local school, dripping gutters and bad sound proofing from the rest if the hotel. It's most definitely one of the better budget options around this area, would recommend, however...

Stayed here for 2 nights in May and we had a really good stay! All the staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room was really clean and satisfactory, it's a basic guest house though they take pride in its cleanliness. Wifi wasn't included though was just 50rps for 20 hours which is fine. Breakfasts were good - we asked for...

The hotel is very nice and familiar. The owners are very friendly and give good advices for traveling. The view is also very nice. It is positioned on a hill next to the lake - it takes you just 10 miutes to walk to the tooth temple and is therefore very quiet in the night.

Stayed a couple of nights prior to going on a 3 night trek in the Knuckles Range with the owners' staff. There was confusion about our dates so we ended up in a noisy room inside their apartment with a bug-infested bathroom. The owner's wife literally screamed at my wife and threatened to kick us out when we said we...

Location is good, but it's not like you can get it wrong in a place like Kandy. The owner it's enough reason for you to never stay there. She's only interested in your money and she doesn't understand anything about travelling or what her guests could possibly need or want. I stayed there for 4 nights and spent a lot...

The Inn located in a typical street for cheaper accomodations was rated great in travel guides - therefore it was going to be one of our first picks. The location was ok and the views from the better rooms of course nice with the lake in front of them. However, when it came to the contact with the owner I...

We stayed there one night and chose to shorten our stay to move to another hotel. The manager of the place is a very aggressive and changing woman whose only interest is to get money from you. We wanted to get a car to get to visit the golden triangle, she offered something really expensive and when we got someone...

This guesthouse is on the main road with lots of other places, the walk along the lake into Kandy is quite nice, although noisy from traffic. We stayed during the low session and had two rooms next to each other and a shared little living room which was perfect for relaxing. The rooms were clean and basic. The breakfast the...

We stayed at Expeditor just one night. We booked via email just a few days before; our reservation was confirmed by email, although note that the price was never confirmed in writing (which may be the business model, looking at other reviews here) so that the owner can tweak it in various ways later, which is what happened to us....
