We spent two nights here with our two kids. The family room is a good size, with two queen beds and a twin. The AC unit was silent and effective, enabling us to get a good nights sleep. The room was clean and the bathroom was in good working order. The family were all very nice, and we were made...

The husband and wife team in this jungle type lodging are most gracious. Her home made meals delicious. The husband very knowledgable about all the nearby ruins, world heritage sites and transportation routes. The accommodation was great for the price, clean and quiet. Both husband and wife went beyond our expectations to make our stay memorable, and it was. Sigiriya...

This guest house, set back off the main road, is a green and peaceful oasis with clean, basic rooms, long, cool verandahs and a shady garden teeming with birds, squirrels, and the occasional monkey. Best of all, we found the owners and their family to be incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Milton's tours, either by tuk tuk or car, are...

We can thoroughly recommend this attractive guest house in a pretty location just off the main street of the village. The simple room was very clean indeed with a good bed ,a new mosquito net and a tiled bathroom. The breakfasts were tasty too but most of all the helpfulness of this charming family enhanced our stay as the owner gave...

This is a conveniently located homestay, located slightly off the main road and close to the main attractions. Rooms are basic but clean, with mosquito nets over beds. The owner provided me with a bicycle, and can take you around by tuktuk or car. Generally a very nice and helpful family, and I'd gladly come back again!

My family enjoyed this B&B. Rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite yummy. Milton and his family were very friendly. He took us into town for dinner one evening on their tuk tuk. We enjoyed a home cooked meal one evening from Milton's wife. It was quite delicious! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

They staff was friendly but the best thing was the traditional food! It's very cheap but the service is great and the food is amazing. The view from here is amazing too! You can see the Rock and huge fields. Would definitely recommend!

Of the eight or so similar priced guest houses we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka, this one was the least enjoyable experience, by quite some margin. Although the accommodation was clean, our room was small, dark, and felt very cramped particularly as there was nowhere in the room to hang or put clothes, not even one hook....

Our room was basic, ensuite with air-con. But you aren't paying luxury prices. More cupboard space would have made the room better as we had to live out of suitcases. Pretty garden with nice surroundings. Dinners cooked by Milton's wife were the best meals we had in Sigiriya. However breakfasts were disappointing. Milton had good English and was always helpful...
