We enjoyed two nights here, it's a very peaceful and relaxing spot. It's right in the beach, with the lagoon on the other side. You can borrow canoes and explore the lagoon, with its iguanas, monkeys, sea eagles and storks. There is a surprisingly big and clean pool. They only do breakfast, but there's plenty of good places to eat...

On the first sight this hotel might look a little bit worn down. But I would recommend a stay anyway! The price compensates for the small cracks here and there (sunbeds for example). You get nice and clean rooms with AC, a nice Pool, free Coconuts and all in a quiet area not to far from all the restaurants at...

This was our second visit, having really enjoyed it last year. The staff are still as friendly and the location is really peaceful at the end of the road, adjacent to the beach and lagoon and with a pool. It is an incredibly relaxing experience but we did feel that the property could do with a bit of TLC as...

Our most expensive accommodation in Sri Lanka and also our worst. We booked into the hotel and quickly realized that the pictures on the internet were out dated and very flattering. The accommodation is dirty and seems like they are running out of funds to upkeep the premises. When we confronted the manager he acknowledged that the marketing material are...

Checkin: We arrived at the hotel a day in advance, we checked the status and everything was supposed to be fine, at arrival the hotel was "totally booked" meaning that somehow our original booking wasn't available either... Without us knowing. This happened to another couple during our stay, the hotel sent a mail to a "noreply" adress the day before...

We arrived here on New Year's Day with hour 3 year old daughter having book. A 'private luxury villa'. On arrival we were told our booking had been cancelled and Agoda had been informed (via email at 8pm on 30th to a noreply@agoda.com address. (Please see pics). No apology was given and the extremely rude staff didn't seem to see...

This was a comfortable, secluded little "resort" sandwiched between a glorious beach and mangroves. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The grounds and pool area could use some TLC and a woman's touch but it was adequate and we were sorry we could not stay longer. If you enjoy hot water, be warned that it is available but only for...

We came from the beachfront after having checked several other places. Found a place with a little bit off seasonish atmosphere. Immediately we were greeted by a very friendly owner who showed us our room and offered a very reasonable price. The room was well furnished (nice wooden bed!) they even had candles to support the feeling :) Every morning...

Only 3 of 25 chalets occupied when we visited (in the August off season) so hard to judge the place in some ways. Rooms had AC and were very clean. We only ate hear for breakfast - which was absolutely delicious. We ate lunch and evening meals at the places either side, which were busier and had their restaurants right...

At the end of the road along the beach, direction South West, you will find this wonderful place. We had tried about seven other places before on this road and they were too small, no AC and overpriced. This one is right on the beach with a nice lagoon at the back and a big garden, swimming pool and restaurant....
