This is a place for nature lovers who likes the relaxing atmosphere of being at a lodge on the end of the road. The road was overflooded at some parts. The taxi got stuck on the way from the airport. Be prepared for small adventures when you leave town! Bring good clothes for all weather and shoes. We were an...

We never stayed at the lodge but we dis spend two days at the restaurant, waiting for night fall when the turtles might come ashore to nest. The owner of the restaurant, Irwen, is one of those rare people that you meet that is extremely friendly. The food is great and the conversations with Irwen are alone worth the visit....

This is an amazing place. Very quite, beautiful during the day and at night. Enjoyed renting the ATV and exploring the area. Great breakfast and we enjoyed staying outside of town. We will return!

We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at this lodge. If we could, we would have extended our stay indefinitely....unfortunately it was all booked up. No surprise there! Like a previous rater noted, the website doesn't do this place justice. The rooms are good and roomy...there is also a lovely walk in shower. The location cannot be beat. It...

I had a great time. BTW: The website doesn't do justice. It's much more beautiful when you arrive. Things I did: - jogging on the beach - hiking and biking in the jungle. - surfing with the pros - reading in the beach hammock - Observing world class surfing at the front door. - Great stories from an array of...

After staying here for 5 days and having read many reviews of almost all the hotels/inns in Bocas, I can safely say that this is the best place to stay on Isla Colon, if not all of Bocas del Toro (especially considering the reasonable price). The owners and staff are wonderful, warm, helpful, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, interesting people. We always...

We did not stay on this property, but i would highly recommend it for the location and the lovely owners and food. It is the furthest point on this road going to Playa Bluff Beach from Bocas Del Toro town. If you want something that is close to this amazing beach and jungle and more remote, it is for you....

Just got back from a holiday stay in Bocas. My wife, our 2 children (3 years old and 4 months old), and I stayed at Playa Bluff Lodge for 4 nights. It was the best thing we could have done as a family with 2 young children. You get the best of both worlds: the ocean and the jungle. Although...

Playa Bluff lodge was great! the hospitality is unbelievable good, they were worried all the time for us. We had some troubles at the frontier and Helena was worried about us, she sent a taxi to pick us up. The room was very nice and clean, the bed is great but our room didn't have A/C.The beach is front of...

“The wifi was not In-Room. You had to be sitting in the restaurant for it to work but it was free. At night time, there didn't seem to be any managers etc on site so I occasionally worried that if something were to arise, I'm not sure we would have had any help...”
