This is not a hotel, more like a hostel. We stayed here recently and were very disappointed. On arrival we were met by an unfriendly woman and given the keys to our room. There seemed to be only 4 rooms - maybe we were staying in an annex? The rooms were basic and what concerned us was the fact that...

We stayed at the Bocas Inn for 3 nights in November 2014. Our room was very spacious and clean. The owner of the hotel was such a lovely, helpful, amiable woman. She was more or less running the show on her own and did a fantastic job. Breakfast was plentiful. The position of the hotel is just on the outskirts...

Ideal place for a calm and quiet holiday. Rooms 1 and 2 are the best as they face the sea. The shops are near by. Though I cannot swim, I enjoyed snorkelling with the help of our tour leader Daniele from Journey Latin America who literally dragged me along, me wearing a life jacket. Saw lots of corals and colourful...

The location is excellent - not far from all the restaurants and shops on the main street but far enough away to be tranquil. We arrived by water taxi and left by water taxi. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Central America - lots of fresh fruit ,bread, pancakes & cheese eaten downstairs right by the...

Thank you so much for sharing your experience at the Bocas Inn with us. We are glad you liked its location, our breakfasts and the staff's friendly disposition. Good to hear you received the post cards. Mail may be slow, but reliable in Bocas del Toro. Should you ever come back this way remember you have a place to stay...

Bocas Inn has a great location; very close to all the activity in town (you can walk everywhere), but removed enough so that you aren't disturbed by all the noise. It’s right on the water with a fabulous view, constant breeze and friendly staff. Each room has its own bathroom (a significant point of note in Bocas) , the rooms...

I stayed at Bocas Inn for 5 days, felt like I was at home. I did have the place to myself as it was "off-season," but I cannot imagine the staff providing anything but exceptional service as they catered to all my needs, including arranging expeditions, restaurant recommendations, sights to see, bicycles to rent for easy touring of the Penninsula,...

Bocas Inn is a very tranquil spot right on the water. I can lay in a hammock reading a book and enjoy the sounds of tropical birds in the trees all around me. The people here are very friendky and helpful. Orlando fixed us a fabulous breakfast and had coffee waiting for us when we woke up. They also offer...

We stayed at Bocas Inn 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, with the excellent view from the front decks. Breakfast is served on the main floor with views of the anchored yachts, island, and morning boat traffic. The food was very good and Orlando, the cook, is a charmer with his Caribe accented English and friendly manner. Hercilia, the...

We stayed here for a couple of nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our room facing the waterfront. Our room was simple, comfortable with a lovely soft bed and a hammock outside on the balcony. The bar is excellent and breakfast is all you could wish for. However, when it rains it does rain but even that can be a spectacle.
