I stayed at Tesoro Escondido in February, 2010 and it was one of my best trips - EVER! I travel a lot and this was a great way to immerse myself into this beautiful part of the world. The turquoise water, beach, jungle and animals are all picture-postcard perfect but dining with Monique, the owner, was one of the best...

After researching an exoticv enue for a green wedding, I am so glad we settled on Tesoro Escondido. We wanted a low key, inexpensive, zero trash wedding and we got everything we hoped for and more. Monique and her staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our special day unfolded without a hitch. My husband...

If you are looking to stay in paradise, look no further than Tesoro Escondido. Located a 20 min taxi drive from Bocas Town, this collection of cottages is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. My husband and I stayed in the Dolphin Cottage, which has an amazing view of the private beach at the eco-lodge. The...

If you don't mind having ocean waves as background music to a romantic evening with the one you love (or could get away with at the last minute), or playing all day along miles of soft, liter-free beach, then Tesoro Escondido is the perfect vacation spot for you. I swear, when my girlfriend told me about this affordable eco-lodge--granted, I...

After visiting a few key tourist spots in Panama city my boyfriend and I decided to venture out to Bocas del Toro. Once we arrived on the island we scoped out the town for a day or two but it wasn't until we began speaking to this nice couple on a bus when we heard about Tesoro Escondido. Their description...

I was there in September which was wonderful to relax and swim and in January was great to surf. The beaches right there and Bluff Beach are just amazing (relaxing place, nice...

Tesoro Escondido is definitely a special place, for the right type of traveler. First, it's on the most beautiful beach in all of Boca. The cabins are comfy, and I would definitely recommend springing for one of them versus staying in the main house if you can swing it. (Especially Dolphin, it's so sweet!) The owner and her staff are...

This is really heaven on earth. You live in harmony with the nature and the nature provide you with the best it has to offer. The service is excellent and you feel very welcomed and relaxed. Have a drink on the wonderful terrace at the main building or why not relax on your private balcony, overlooking the ocean.

Really a wonderful spot to getaway for a couple of days or longer. It shows off some of the best areas and rythym of life in the Bocas del Toro archipelago. If the water is calm getting up and swimming first thing was my choice and then some tidepooling when the tide goes out. This place is so relaxing without...

On a friend's recomendation we sought out this wonderful hideaway. We were not disappointed. It's not easy to find... sort of hidden off the road but worth the search! We dined there three of our five nights in Bocas and had the most enjoyable and delicious meals of our two week trip to Panama. Dorothy the french cook, Monique and...
