The only faults we found for this place was the very creaky floors which kept my partner up a bit with people coming in late at night and the fact that we didn't book early enough and could only stay for one night....we would have liked to stay longer despite the songs of the floor boards! Obviously two things which...

We stayed in this Hostel for five days and four nights and it was very very nice. Let me go straight to the highlights: .Location: is not in the middle of where "everything happens" but is really close so you won't hear all the party all night but you can still manage to walk to it within 5 minutes so...

My wife and I stayed with Bryan and Jana for just short of two weeks in February, we should have stayed another week but our schedule dictated it was time to move on. Their attention to detail is excellent. The location of the property is perfect, located on a quiet street walking distance to town but tranquil at night. Restaurants...

I was not happy with the Bed & Breakfast. The owner was not very nice or accommodating. He did not make us feel welcomed. The place was always hot & even if you left the AC on in your bedroom, they would turn it off so the place was hot & muggy when you returned.

This was our second stay at Lula's in less than a year. Bryan and Jana, along with a small, efficient staff, provide guests with spotlessly clean rooms, a fantastic breakfast with Jana's homemade tropical fruit jams and great information on activities and dining. There is a great upstairs balcony where you can relax in a hammock, drink a cold beverage...

My girlfriend and I stayed at Lula's for 3 nights in early January 2014. Very enjoyable stay for the following reasons: 1) very friendly staff. The b&b is run by an American couple who is very accommodating and helpful. 2) cozy rooms. While the daily rate was a little high, it was still a cozy, clean room with a good...

I made a last minute booking during the Panamanian "festive season", so hotels were very difficult to obtain after New Year's celebrations. The receptionist / owner (Jana) over the phone was able to accommodate me for the one night that I needed, so with little option, that's what I did. Turns out, it worked out great! My sister and I...

I stayed in the hostel part of Lula's and I couldn't have asked for anything more: I stayed in the private room. The AC was cold, the room looked out over the water, it was right by the kitchen, and we could jump in the water whenever we wanted. The common areas were clean. And the locker system they have...

My wife and I stayed at Lula's from December 19-23 and we enjoyed it. This was our second trip to the Bocas del Toro area (we stayed at Bocas bound hostal in October of this year). Our experience with Lula's was great. We arrived a little later on Thursday evening and were received with warm smiles. THE ROOM We stayed...

Bocas Town is geared toward backpackers. And while we were in fact back-packing, we weren't looking for "the cheapest rooms in town,"- there are plenty of those if you are. Our priorities were that a room be clean, comfortable, have hot water, and that the building be well-sealed to keep as many insects and lizards out as possible - that...
