We visited a few years back and had the most amazing time. Sue made amazing meals and snacks. Still dream of the potatoe chips. Fun to have meals with the other guests, just like family dinner and conversations. The rooms backed into the jungle and were tastefully done. You can see lots of wildlife on the trails and visit the...

After a great day snorkeling you come back to a fabulous dinner with the great friends you just met and later fall asleep in a big comfy bed listening to the waves. Dave and Suzanne have created something really special. Their commitment to the local community is also impressive--not just in who they hire and where they get their food--but...

We traveled here with our 3 adult children, and all of us had a wonderful time. The location is breath-taking, There are virgin coral reefs nearby for snorkeling, interesting trails through the rain forest, beautiful, hand-crafted accommodations, and excellent food and drink. The hosts, Dave and Suzanne, are very attentive and accommodating. Along with their talented staff, they will make...

Dave, Suzanne and their team really took care of us, we felt so priviledged. All the wooden houses are so beautiful, well equiped and decorated. It is really comfortable. Also you have commun rooms with...

Casa Cayuco is my favorite tropical vacation I've ever been on, both because of the unbelievably pristine beach and calm, crystal water, and because of the delightful owners and staff who curate a perfect balance of laid-back luxury. The water and snorkeling are comparable or superior to what I found in Mexico, southeast Asia, and the Great Barrier Reef, but...

This was a wonderful place to stay for three nights, although 6 nights would be even better. The setting is superb, the food is fantastic, and lots of really good things are happening in the nearby indigenous village due to Dave and Suzanne's efforts. We went kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, and paddle boarding, but I must say just sitting on the...

We just spent three nights at Casa Cayuco. The food, accommodation and hospitality couldn’t be better. We had had five busy days in Panama City so really appreciated the relaxing pace here. We did the snorkeling tour and the visit to Salt Creek Ngobe community as well as enjoyed the kayaks and beach. Jose does a great job of accompanying...

Fantastic place! The food is amazing with plenty of vegan options for your delight. Activities are fun and everyone is super nice. It a great place to go to unwind and be off the radar if you want to. They have good internet but, you really don't need it. Make yourself coffee or tea and hang out at the doc...

Casa Cayuco offers the ultimate getaway. Plenty of terrific activities offered, if you choose to be active, and a beautiful paradise, if you choose to relax. The accommodations are surprisingly luxurious, on a secluded tropical island, and every amenity is offered by wonderful hosts Dave and Suzanne. Dave, Suzanne and excellent staff provide every comfort as well as excellent food,...
