This was our second visit to this lodge. It is a very clean and comfortable lodge, with excellent food in the restaurant! We stayed in one of the remote cabins, and so arranged transportation with the lodge every day to go back and forth. The cabin was rustic, but comfortable. We saw many beautiful birds and flowers from our porch....

This was our second visit to the lodge. It is very clean and comfortable, with excellent food at the restaurant! We stayed in one of the cabins in the rainforest, so arranged for transportation each day with the lodge. All the staff were so kind and accomodating. We are glad we experienced a cabin stay in Guadalupe. Travelers considering this place should be aware that some of the cabins, like ours, require you to hike to your cabin after being dropped off. The cabins are not near the lodge and depending on what cabin you stay in, it's at least a 45-minute walk to the lodge (harder...

Best place in near Cerro Punta is the little cross-roads town of Guadalupe. They serve a very nice breakfast and have excellent and well-priced dinner. Very good birding can be had by walking past Finca Dracula to Cabin #9.

We booked and stayed just one night, coming from Boquete with some friends, After arriving, having a quick bite in their restaurant for lunch and hiking the area for several hours, we got a ride (in their 4x4 - a necessity!!) and stayed upstairs in cabin #4, about a 20+ minute drive over a very rocky road. Two bedrooms, a...

We are staying in nearby Cerro Punta and could walk to Guadalupe to have a bite at the 'Quetzales Lodge'. The place is very nicely decorated, the waiters very friendly and the food is delicious. We went twice, for lunch and dinner. They always change the menues, everything is tasty and fresh. At dinner, it was rainy and cold outside,...

Los Quetzales Lodge was the centerpiece of our two weeks in Panama. It is an eco-lodge, with an environmental ethic that governs their management. They try to live lightly on the path. There are rooms and suites in the Lodge, detached and private Chalets along the river, and some miles up a 4X4 road, the Cabins for wilderness experience. The...

We stayed in cabin #4 (upstairs) for three nights the end of December 2016. We had to leave a day earlier because of some mess up I did with my travel (my fault) but the lodge gladly accommodated our request. The timing was not that perfect because of the rains and chilly weather up the mountain. Nevertheless, we enjoyed every...

This is a nice lodge in a gorgeous setting. We had a Junior Suite, which was spacious and filled with light. Our balcony had a beautiful view of the valley and mountains beyond. Infinite shades of green! The food is made with super-fresh and local produce. Yumm!
