This homestay is set in a peaceful garden in Delhi . The room was clean and comfortable. Another pillow would have been nice, but I am sure they would have provided it if asked. The evening meal ( provided on request) was good value and tasty. Breakfast was fine with toast eggs and juice. Wifi didn't work in our room...

My daughter was finishing her study abroad in India and we were recommended to stay at the Estaten when I came to visit her. The landscaping was gorgeous, the staff very pleasant, sincerely kind and helpful! We also enjoyed the food!!! We were there during the slower season so prices were discounted. We felt that they were very reasonable. Would...

We stayed at The Estate in August 2011 on what was our first trip to Delhi and couldn't have been more pleased with the hospitality afforded by Mamta and her staff in this oasis to the south of the city proper. The Estate's rooms and dining area are slightly removed from the main residence, separated by gloriously manicured gardens. The...

Peaceful location in the midst of the Delhi chaos. Very helpful and attentive staff (...if a little too attentive at times if you can appreciate this !). Food basic, but carefully prepared and reasonably priced. Rooms OK, if not he cleanest we have come across. A good choice if you don't want big hotels but don't want to go too...

With the price they were charging this place should have been a 3-4* star hotel. We didn't have a difficult time finding it, as our auto guy knew of it straight away. We checked in pretty early in the morning and they were kind enough to give us a room. The problem started when we realized that its NOT A...

The Estate has very few rooms keep a record of all our guests and meticulously. We do not take any walk in guests and only guests with reserved bookings through reliable sources. After carefully going through all our records, we have been unable to either identify this particular guest in January 2012 or any incident of early morning, delayed check...

Right on the metro line the location is ideal- a little out of town but great to be away from the madness of Delhi. Appreciated the airport pick up after an over night flight in. The rooms are decorated beautifully, every thing has been thought of. The home cooked meals are delicious and a wonderful introduction to a real Indian...

Our first trip to India was a bit daunting so we wanted to make sure we had an easy introduction before our 4 week backpacking trip across Rajastan. Mamta and the team at The Estate were great, we were picked up from the airport and taken to their beautiful and tranquil home. The bedroom was really well decorated, beautiful dark wood...

“The Chameli Suite is a favourite, but so also is the ground floor room at the end of the verandah....all of them are wonderful, to be honest, but those two are my favourites. But I'm looking fwd to the next trip, and staying in the rooftop room....in winter it is a delightfully sunny spot; in summer, a quiet retreat....”
