Loved my time at Chhoti Haveli. It was so comfortable and Surinder, went way out of her way to make it so. I was apprehensive about almost everything on my first trip to India but with Surinder's very sound advice all went well. It made a huge difference to know that I could come back at night and feel so...

This Haveli was our very last lodgings in "Incredible India" and it has left a lasting impression. We are so happy that we chose Surinder and Pawin's B&B for our stay in Dehli. Surinder was extremely helpful to us in plotting out our daily schedules, arranging our drivers and shopping recommendations. Graciously they allowed us to leave some of our...

What a lovely break from the often hectic business travel atmosphere-- Here at Chhoti Haveli I felt almost back home in my own bed! My plane was delayed but my driver was there waiting-- (20 hour delay!)-- the garden-like setting was delightful - and so were the owners- and hey, the other guests made it a treat as well-- from...

Overall a great place to stay, with various pros and cons. The b&b is run by Surinder, who keeps the place clean and comfortable and can provide friendly advice. The cost is above average for India (everything in Delhi is), and will cost more than a hotel in Paharganj or Karol Bagh, although Surinder is an honest businesswoman and there...

We spent 2.5 weeks traveling around in India, staying in everything from a mediocre Mumbai hotel, wonderful Kerala houseboat, 5 star Goa resort, cute Jodhpur guest houses. Of all our stays, Chhoti Haveli was our favorite and most memorable. We'll most certainly be back. In the meantime, we'll refer all of our friends. We flew in and out of Dehli...

We stayed for 3 nights at Chotti Haveli the main purpose being a base for us to visit the Taj Mahal and to see Delhi. Our hosts Surinder and Pavan were so welcoming and arranged for their safe and experienced driver to take us to Aggra which was a very memorable and wonderful day. It certainly is a bed and...

We arrived on a cold winter's morning and left on another. The warmth of our welcome and the hospitality of the Mainis was absolutely breathtaking. We were looked after like dear family members, and yet professionally. The breakfasts made by Surinder and Thaapa were delicious and exactly what we asked for each day. The children loved the Indian breakfasts, and...

Chhoti Haveli was like a home away from home in Delhi, with exceptionally comfortable, clean rooms and excellent bathrooms. Surinder was a fantastic and welcoming host, giving us invaluable suggestions and ideas of things to do during our limited time in Delhi. This guesthouse is a quiet little oasis. While it is a little distance from Connaught Place, it is...

Surinder and Pawan, the owners of this excellent accommodation, made my trip to India a pleasure. From the very beginning of our email correspondence I felt confident about choosing this B&B as my introduction to India. Even though I arrived in Delhi at 1 A.M., there was a courteous driver with an identifying sign to pick me up. Pawan was...

A gentleman in an internet cafe saw me looking for some accommodation in Delhi. He immediately recommended the Chhoti Haveli. He said "they are near the airport, very affordable, clean and extremely friendly". And that is exactly what they are. Chhoti Haveli is fantastic!!! The lovely owners, Pawan and Surinder who speak perfect english, will arrange for you to be...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled in the heart of south Delhi, Chhoti Haveli is very close to the Delhi Airport (20 min/ 9 km), Chhatarpur metro station (2.5 km) and Qutub Minar. Located in a gated community, next to a large reserved green forest (Sanjay Van), the property faces a beautiful public park with a walking trail. At our second floor apartment we have created the ambience of a Haveli. The property is bright and airy, with an abundance of natural light and ventilation. The b&b is tastefully furnished with period hand crafted furniture from Rajasthan. Hand block printed cotton fabric furnishings in vibrant vegetable dyed colours add to the ethnic decor. Chhoti Haveli promises to give you the comfort of a home and cater to your needs as a traveler. We look forward to hosting you at Chhoti Haveli, a delhi b&b with a difference! Surinder and Pawan Maini, Innkeepers ... more   less
