We stayed here for our first two nights for our holiday travelling the golden triangle. More of a home stay than a hotel, the food was fantastic, the colonel and his wife were very friendly. Eating on the roof terrace was great, the Indian scrabbled eggs for breakfast are lovely together with homemade bread. Dont miss out on the home...

We stayed 2 nights at Colonel's Retreat as part of a round trip to Ranthambhore National Park and Agra. The first and last day of the trip, we stayed at Colonel's Retreat. We felt like home here, as it is the type of guesthouse, with living room, kitchen and private bathroom. Having breakfast on the roof terrace, is just wonderful....

We stayed here on arrival in India and were welcomed with tea and banana cake. The room we had was simple but spacious, the bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom, although not luxurious, had a good hot shower and there was no road or other noise to disturb us at night. Dinner was served on the roof with...

We arrived tired from an overnight flight. We were welcomed showed to our comfortable rooms with great bathroom. That evening we had an excellent dinner on the roof, hosted by Arun and his wonderfully friendly staff. Breakfast the next day we were delighted to meet the Colonel himself (Arun's father) and a real, galant, gentleman. Good free wifi, comfortable beds,...
