Great homestay, walking distance to Metro & local restaurants, secure location in quiet area. Ashwani and staff were very accomodating and helpful. Rooms clean and spacious. Tea, coffee and filtered water were always available. Breakfast was freshly made and we loved especially loved the dosas (rice pancakes) Wifi was good.
We were caught up in the beginning of India's COVID 19 lock down, our flight had been delayed and Ashwani graciously let us stay for the whole day until we left for the airport that night. I hope that he, his family and staff are safe and are able to have guests again in the near future. We will definately stay here again.

This was our first stop on a 3 week tour and it was fine, if at times rather noisy outside.

The guest house is in a largely residential area in South Delhi.
Our room itself was fairly basic as was the ensuite bathroom but the proprietor was friendly and helpful clearly taking some pride in providing recommendations of places to visit. On both mornings following discussions about our interests he wrote us a proposed itinerary which was really useful as we"d had few fixed ideas in advance about what we wanted to do.

Unfortunately there was quite a lot of noise from the street with fireworks and music on the first night and then (bizarrely) on the second when it appeared a building site opposite received a delivery of concrete at around 1.30am!

It was notable that we actually paid less than we had been quoted when booking. The reason? The rate of applicable tax had been reduced and this reduction passed on to us.

We didn't actually choose Tree of Life, we'd booked into another homestay property that unexpectedly couldn't take us and they chose Tree of Life for us. Whilst not being the most convenient location for our driver (helped though by Ashwin kindly letting our driver park his car in their garage overnight), Tree of Life turned out to be a fantastic stay. South Delhi is a quieter residential area and ToL is within a gated community so after about 11pm traffic noise is minimal. There's a metro very close by and if we had our time again we would definitely use this to avoid the crazy Delhi traffic. We enjoyed strolling the streets and walking to the nearby mall for different types of chai at 'Chai Point' and the large PVR mall is a short auto away for a variety of restaurants and a Fab India (beware ladies, you will want to buy everything!). Qutab Minar is also very close. Ashwin is a kind and helpful host and we would certainly stay here again when next in Delhi.

The best part of this hotel was the service. The owner and the staff are very available and ready to help you. We were looked after very well.
Just to set your expectations, this is small B&B, it’s located in a residential area so you will not find a reception or anything like that. There are plenty of options to drink and eat within a 15min rickshaw journey. They are on Uber and very cheap. The owner recommended a few good options so please speak to him as he is very helpful and knowledgeable. A few things to consider. You have to put the water heater in the bathroom on for hot water about 30 minutes beforehand so not suitable if you want to get up, have a quick shower and go. It was not a problem for us. No coffee/tea facilities in the room but it’s available in the breakfast area. No fridge in the room which was a major minus for us. Breakfast was simple but nice and freshly cooked in the morning. They kindly arranged laundry for us at a very good price.

This was not a place for us. This is accommodation targeted for budget travelers. We felt however the night rate was overpriced for what you get.

If you like us have some issues just communicate with the owner and they will be happy to resolve any concerns.

I was in Delhi with my family for my mother's treatment and we were looking for a place that would give her that same homely feeling. I must admit that though the other properties we looked at might have appeared posher, they all lacked very basic facilities and gave that hotel kind of feeling. But this one was very different.

We rented the entire apartment for our family and from the very moment we checked in, we didn't for a moment realize we were not at "our" home. Mom was so delighted to see the arrangements and the entire apartment in general.

I have stayed in Delhi for a good while so I knew proximity to PVR Anupam would be a big plus for us. The best part though was the hospitality with which the owner of the property, Mr. Ashwini hosted us. He's such a thorough gentleman and a great guide too. You'll love interacting with him more than anything else.

And for those who need some entertainment, you'll find a great collection of books from all genres and a nice collection of DVDs too (if you still prefer to use something like that). Proximity to places like PVR Anupam, Select City Mall, and metro station is an added advantage.

All in all, I would say, the property has been really maintained with heart & soul. Every little need be it cutlery, beddings, or toiletries was well taken care of and if you still need anything, Mr.Ashwini is just a call away.

Highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

For two women and first time travellers to India, we were very grateful to have found Tree of life in South Delhi’s Saket.

Tree of Life B&B can be described as home away from home type of place, in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, not far from some of Delhi's attractions, historical sites, shopping malls and not to forget a convenient access to transport via metro or tuk tuk, taxi to any other location you need.

Beautiful, comfortable, spacious rooms, clean, quiet and all amenities available. Breakfast was fantastic, freshly prepared and for a small surcharge we enjoyed many delicious dinners.

The real highlight are the owner Ashwani and his staff Suraj and Ramraj, who are not only very kind and hospitable, but also very helpful. Any questions we had, they were there to help, even organising our day tour to Agra and suggesting Delhi’s hidden spots.
I certainly know where I’m staying next time I come to Delhi or where I’m recommending my friends to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Tree of Life, a B&B located in a quiet Delhi neighborhood. Breakfast was good with choice of Western or Indian style food. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, rising early on our final day to serve us breakfast before our morning flight. Decent location a short walk to the metro and shopping.

The property is conveniently located in a sheltered estate in the south of Delhi with access through a number of manned security gates. It is a short walk to the the excellent metro system (Saket gate 3 entrance). Also a short walk to the PVR centre (cinema, shops and eating places). The host, Ashwani, is around every day or can be contacted by phone or WhatsApp. He provided us with some useful tips on things to see in Delhi. In his absence there are other English speaking staff on site. Breakfast is provided in the first floor dining room. A reasonably priced freshly-cooker dinner (INR600; veg or non-veg) can also be prepared with two hours notice. On our first night we did not have the best sleep due to noise in our front-facing room. On mentioning this to staff, Ashwani contacted us and offered to change to a rear facing room; where we slept well for the rest of our stay.

Well, I was there in Delhi for a very short time. The place is near to PVR Anupam and easily accessible from the metro station. What make this place best is the location and the professional behavior from the Host- Mr. Ashwani. Well-behaved and if you are new to city he guide you with best of knowledge to help you out. With free parking and surrounded by CCTV cameras make this place more secure and reliable.

finally, will definitely visit the place if get a chance to come back to delhi.

no alcohol is served, but 5 minutes away, there are shops that sell beer and wine and there is no issue keeping them in the fridge, but it would not be a party house, it is quiet.

Hi. Suruchi does not conduct regular classes at Tree of Life as of now but may plan to do so after a month when she's back from a training course. She has a regular set of clients who she visits for Yoga classes. Individual Yoga lessons or Reflexology sessions are provided for in house guests at extra cost. Looking forward to hearing from you Ashwani
